Perfect. You'll adore it, then like the rest of us wonder what on earth could ever replace it. They are unique things.

Congratulations, lovely colour that. Same colour as the press car that Harry Metcalf took to the Alps. Must have watched that video and Chris Harris' TDF Blue FF videos hundreds of times

Enjoy in good health

Chris Harris' video and to some extnet also Shmee150 are at least partially responsible for me ending up in one of these.

I think CH recently mentioned (in a video/podcast) he was considering revisiting the FF as he enjoyed the ownership experience so much.

I almost baught a 2012 FF with 25k miles and thus week and out of the blues appeared next to me a 2017 Vanquish with 12k miles for 20% less than the FF. To me 5 years less and the price was a no brainer smile
what do u think?
I don’t need the 4 seats for now

I'm a long term FF lurker.

I'd love one but just couldn't find teh right one. 2 'failed' inspections later, i've put a deposit on this.

Hoping to join the the fold in the future still. Some great members in this section.

What were the issues flagged on the ff inspections?

Ptu hoses on both, likely low ptu fluid levels because. One had corroded disc bolts, nothing horrific, just lots of cost. One had high was the best had a faulty aircon compressor and poor smart repairs.

Wouldn't they take those costs off the asking price to secure a sale?

in my world, yes. In your world, yes. In the sellers worlds.... no.

also, I know it was just unlucky with the PTU hoses, however I do worry about ptu's that might have been low on fluids.

I just came to the point where I looked around and felt the vantage would be a better fit for me, at this point.

There seem to be a lot of unmotivated sellers out there....Obviously bought at the top of the market & not willing to take a hit.

Me too I loved the FF it just didn’t make sense to pay more than for a 5 year younger and cheaper vanquish. I also think the value will hold better from my entry price point.
I think in 3 years the FF would have been 15 years old with no more Power warranty available and would have been very difficult to sell. Especially that the PTU was never changed neither was the speed sensor or hasn’t failed yet and it’s just a question of time on these.. so I think in a few years I’ll probably find a better lusso for the same price that the ff was offered. Meanwhile I will enjoy my vanquish smile
Will post some pictures soon smile

Love the Vanquish (especially the S) but it’s not a true 4 seater so couldn’t replace the FF for me. Even my kids couldn’t get in the back

Correct, however with age of my kids, they’ll be fine for a couple of years.

Picked it up today, so comfortable! Feels like the 812 dialled back a couple of clicks but still bonkers fast. Sounds amazing

The sound is another level on these. I'm not sure why people feel the need to change the exhausts on them. They are loud/lovely straight out of the box.

Even though they're a few years old now and despite the GTC I still can't help but feel that the FF is simply the perfect all round car. I would absolutely love to own one.
