This car might be a case of the owner wanting a quick sale hence the apparently good price. As for 612 vs FF values, perhaps the FF's complexity/potential big bills are off putting, along with its more aggressive looks? Either way I'd still be surprised if we saw FF's below 612's in the future.

On a personal note, having had a couple of 612's, I'm hoping an FF is my route back into a Ferrari V12 in the future.
The world has gone crazy if 612s are trading at a premium to FFs. That would be like F430s trading at a premium to 458s.

The nav screen will possibly pack it in at some point (mine did already) and then you can get the Ferrari upgrade one (I do not want to know what it costs - a lot probably) which I think might have car play.
The original Nav is the same one in a Chrysler mini van (and every other crappy dodge car of the era).

I know same as in the Grand Cherokee I was looking at last year.

There are quite a number of older cars worth more than their replacements.
All down to desirability and numbers produced.

More 612s were produced than FFs. The FF is revolutionary compared to the 612 - much like the 458 is compared to the F430. This is why the F430 trades at a discount to the 458. Desirability is in the eye of the beholder and fashions change but I don’t see how the 612 can be objectively considered better than the FF in any way whatsoever.

What do people think about pricing up a 2015 car with 15k miles on the clock. Pano roof, loads of carbon interior, 2 services left (but no warranty), grey half leather/suede interior. In the current market what would be a reasonable offer for that? Appreciate the help.

Are you buying or selling? Photos or a link to an advert would help.

Lack of warranty is not an issue as you can pay to have one put on if you want peace of mind. Just be sure to make it part of the deal that the inspection gets done before purchase and any rectification is done at the seller’s expense.

What colour is the exterior? Does it have forged or cast wheels? The rest of the spec sheet sounds pretty good. Do you love the colours and materials inside and out? I presume it has the carbon LED steering wheel. How long are you planning to keep the car?

I'll keep it for as long as I enjoy driving it, have two young kids now so can't switch back to a 2-seater for a while!

Its Grigio Silverstone, dark grey leather/suede interior, yellow brake callipers, fill carbon LED steering wheel, forged diamond wheels. Really like the colours. Just want to get the price right.

Good point on warranty/inspection. Thanks.

Nice and appealing colour combos and spec. The retail market seems to be sitting at £120-140k depending on spec/mileage (all similar in terms of year but tradeoff on options/miles for the price) I have no idea what transactions are trading at in the current market but if you take the retail margin out, you’re probably looking at £100-120k depending on how badly you want it and how badly the seller wants to sell it...

Why not go in at ~£80k and see what his/her reaction is? Depends how motivated a seller you are dealing with. You don't want to insult anybody but money is money. In illiquid assets having a historical price is a useful guide and the last historical price was £90k for that blue one. With Covid your own risk is higher because you might have issues with getting someone to do a PPI or a follow up technical check at a garage.

Is there any key things to look at when purchasing a FF, of course you should get it checked over by Ferrari before buying, but is there anything you should be looking for before you waste your money getting ferrari to look at it?

Yes - 2 keys and a credit card with a key code on it. Also if you’re looking at a car with the rear DVD screens then there should be a pair of wireless headphones. The car should also come with a car cover and steering wheel cover and a trickle charger. All FF’s came with the 7 year service plan so there’s no excuse for missed annual services.

Buy car for £91k, wait a couple weeks, add £30k,sell it: https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/202...

One would then not benefit from 30 day buyer protection as from a dealer? Interesting value proposition.

No. Same colour.

It’s the same car. The interior colour combo is very unusual/rare. Couple that to the identical mileage and HR Owen history and it’s clearly the same car.
