250 GTO Shunt

Looks like the ex Jack Sears (I think it was his car) GTO has been crashed.



Anyone got details? Apparently it happened earlier this week but I don’t know where this was.

As said long ago, the hint is in the photo that it was on the GTO tour. Is that Nick Mason in the background?

Indeed. It isn't a very likely time to be having a GTO tour is it?

Anyway, 250 GTOs were racing cars. They were raced in period and raced hard. That means they got crashed too. Nowadays, compared to the value any repair cost would be peanuts.

The photo was shared on a Facebook page with the guy saying it happened in the USA a few days ago.

He was insistent it was recent. I wasn’t sure. Now feel a little bit silly!!!
