Has anyone experienced an intermittent dashboard airbag warning on the 612 - or I guess other models from that era? It has come on a few times over the years only to go off either on it's own or after me squeezing the various junction boxes under passenger seat. It's in for service this week and the SD3 reports a passenger side seatbelt pretensioner issue which involves removing the back of the seat. Problem is the last time it came on the SD3 reported a fault with the passenger side seatbelt buckle, and I don't want to have to pull everything apart unnecessarily trying to chase down a random fault.

Anyone else had a similar issue and found the root cause? Any particular Italian god(s) I should make a sacrifice to?

Start by cleaning the multi plug to the seat

Checked all the junction boxes and found a loose wire. Problem sorted. Seems the seat riding on the wiring loom beneath causes issues due to 'lightweight soldering' and while it looks like everything is connected just fine if you apply some gentle tension to each wire you will discover the fault. Thanks again for the pointer Aldous.
