I was initially interested in this until I read the detail. Missing mileage, new discs and transmission. I wonder how well it was looked after over there. What do you guys think?

unless you plan to keep the car forever and use it as intended, you might worry endlessly about it's past. i would, but i'm not especially brave. middle eastern cars always seem to carry a stigma, right or wrong. it would have to be very cheap if you were planning on only keeping it for a year or two i think, given the hassle you might have selling it on. i guess follow the auction and see if it makes it's reserve, and then maybe consider it depending where that reserve was set.

" Its most recent main service was in January 2018 at 10,862 miles (17,480 km), carried out by Joe Macari in London. This consisted of an engine oil service, with replacement of the brake discs and pads"

Holy crap. How do you go through a set of CCM pads and discs in 10k miles?! This car has been driven hard. Not necessarily a bad thing - so long as it has been properly maintained. £10k on the CCBs, £14k on the gearbox - what else is lurking? No, I suspect this was properly abused doing drag races in the desert for it's first 10k miles. Maybe it's sorted now but I'd go in with my eyes open. WIDE. And keep some cash back for maintenance.

Thanks guys and my thoughts too. Will be interesting to see where it goes on price. It would have to be £115K I think to make any sense.

I would enquire at Macari,s about it. It is easy to damage the CCB might even have had a wheel cleaner used this would fk them straight away.

Good Luck , i love these.

When I saw it was on 96.5k 2mins to go I actually was very tempted to outbid it but somehow the website was not loading... (I checked and other websites were working) - would have been a big gamble, who knows if it would have been a steal or a money pit given its history...

Same here!

Website crashed in the last few mins of the auction. Great timing for the winning bidder, not so much for the seller!!

How could the mileage be verified?

To be honest, looking at the cracks in seat leather I was a bit worried about that too

At sub 100k for a F12 prob worth the risk despite its history...even if you have to spend another 10-15k on it still a good price imo. LHD prob not easy to move on in the UK but so much car for the cash.

It's now disappeared from the sold section! I wonder if the seller hasn't agreed to the sale due to the website problem!?

I am thinking the same.
Perhaps someone started a small DDoS attack on the website to avoid other people outbidding him/her in the last 2 mins as before that time the website did work...

What a crazy bargain at £101,000 Inc fees !!! If it had proper complete mileage history and original disc brakes, worth £20k more easily....

Did it sell? No sign of it on CC.

It seemed to get to 96k plus 6% then disappeared. So looks like the reserve wasn't met.

sometime mid way through the auction, the title changed and it said No Reserve F12.....then some people were saying the website mysteriously went down over the last few minutes (or someone paid say a couple hundred quid to cause a DDOS attack on the site ?) and so the last price was like around 96k...crazy too low price...I have knowledge of software and so know a DDOS (Distributed Denial of Service Attack) would be effective and can make a site grind to a halt and make it look as if its down, probably even if they ran cloudflare protection...all speculation but probably a very pissed of seller indeed.....so sellers beware....

I think we are going to need some clarity on this issue otherwise its going to look bad for CC.

Hmm.... more than one car I have seen on CC that just vanishes - they had a 993 Turbo S which was fetching (to me) silly money, and yet it has not appeared on the "sold" page

With that history and more questions than answers. Worth £95 max. Auction queen.
Funny that same old crowd talking it up. Metcalfe etc.
