Just got an F12!
Discussion
I got my F12 back in February to join my 458. The F12 is nothing short of sublime, iv never driven anything quite like it. I think i might have a mild obsession with it.
I also need to change the battery on mine, i am going to start a separate thread but if anyone can recommend a good brand for the battery, i know Ferrari are recommending Odyssey but other independents say Bosch are just as good at a fraction of the price any views would be great.
here is a pic of mine...

Go for Bosch, they are very good. Put one on my FF and it never needed to be put on charge even if left for 3 to 4 weeks.
thanks for the tip. I hear great things from people who run both. I went for a Varta on this occasion, never had one before, saved A LOT compared to going via the main dealer. Almost half!Just been driving mine, outside temp 33c today, so Tyre Temps were 55c quite quickly..... Full power in second.... no wheel spin at all on nearly new PS4..hot roads are v good to test traction initially. Beware, worn rear Tyres are an absolute no no on F12, seriously dangerous as you can be sideways before you knew what just happened, no problem on good Michelin PS4 tyres. Also, set manetino to Race, press VDA scroll right, wait for all green Temps...
Sorry I’ve come to this thread a bit late but, going back to the beginning, I don’t agree that all Ferrari Main Dealers ignore tyre age - it depends on whether they are buying or selling. I had an advisory from a md on my 458 to change the tyres, even though they had reasonable tread left, because they were 6 years old. Lovely F12 by the way.
I never look at tread really, driven plenty of old Ferraris with 6mm+ of tread on old tyres and it's something I always change pronto. After four years or so compounds go hard which makes for skittish behaviour, and particularly in something like an F12 with it's brutal torque you want the best possible contact patch with the road. Purely a safety issue in my view.

PS4 going on next week and will get a GEO.
Actually a lot of fun with CT off and warm roads!
I went with PS4s on my 430 based on all the reviews, but found them disappointing - feel quite imprecise to me.Actually a lot of fun with CT off and warm roads!
If you are a racer you might want to look elsewhere... I changed from pilot supersports and took a while to find a tyre pressure that worked. They seem to have a very soft sidewall compared to the much older supersport. They are a fantastic tyre in the wet for sure, but if you like a sharper feel, you might prefer pilots cup 2s or a P-Zero.
I've always found Japanese tyres have much better steering feel (Bridgestone / Yokohama) to Michelin or continentals even if they are not as 'quick' around a lap, I prefer extra steering feel on a road car.

If just sold my f12 to leeds , had it over a year and it was hard to say what’s been a better car , faultless and always turned heads
Now have a 488 simply fancied a change of face
That looks stunning! Now have a 488 simply fancied a change of face
I watched JayEmms video on the F12 and came away thinking this is a hard car to put all its power down so in that respect would a GT3.2 be a faster A to B car than the F12 ? just curious.
