Really stunning spec F12 and i even like it in Rosso Dino..I've been a very long term Porsche owner and only bought my first Ferrari two years ago..I kept away from Ferraris as i was unsure i wanted the attention they bring however i'm now on my second and i'm totally smitten..They have a very special feel about them which Porsche don't have..
I've just bought another Ferrari a couple of weeks ago otherwise i'd be bidding very strongly on this particular F12. Well worth whatever money it goes for and as Henry quite rightly says life is for living, not just for existing.!

I wonder about this. Say the original owner is selling now, he’s going to lose somewhere in the region of £160k. Do you think saving £15k by having it in a colour he wanted less is a consideration?
I owned this car for a while when I wanted an F12 between other stuff. Colour is a little marmite, and louder by some way than anything else I’ve got, but I’m not always convinced by the idea of a “stealth” colour anyway, I used to spec a lot of stuff in Nero, but actually as time has gone on have branched out a little. This was fairly “out there” colour wise, but its a loud V12 Ferrari after all!

Technically, is there anything from owners shill bidding as per eBay to bump up the price?

Not at all suggesting this is happening, just curious if the site has any protection measures. I guess it's a risky game to play and could end up being expensive!

Some of the bidding behaviour a few days before the auction closes has struck me as odd a few times.

It’s not really risky if you know the reserve price and ask a friend to do it! No different from any other auction.

Obviously they take credit card details so would be able to check to make sure it’s a third party bidding.

So £160k quite a good figure not too ridiculous for the spec this car has.
