I saw this 599 for sale, it has a bad combination, Arabic car originally, so US spec bumpers, kph speedo LHD. Red interior throughout, With a list of modifications from Hamann costing someone £50,000 and now on sale for £59,000.

You then have the same guy listing another white 599 for sale, this time with a tan interior. Euro spec car LHD in the UK for £59,000

What are your thoughts on this? They are both for sale at the moment so have a cuppa and give me your 2 cents.

The roof scoop on a rally car is for feeding air into the cabin I believe. Something about equalising the pressure to stop dust being drawn into the car.

P.s might be due a whoosh parrot for this as you all may know this.

It does seem suspiciously cheap. Also I'd have thought you'd lose money and desirability on something like a Ferrari by fitting a bodykit on it (not that that was an issue for the first owner). Perhaps the vendor acquired them at auction where none of the usual dealerships were interested and got them cheap.

Has been for sale for the best part of two years with various dealers at similar money.

The mobile.de car with the F2 plate has been for sale for a while and looks like it had a price drop since I looked at it a few months ago. Given it is a LHD car in the UK and I’d have to pay taxes/duty to get it to Germany, it will have to be cheap I suspect - plus more hassle vs buying in Germany and for many people re-sale issues etc. having said all that I thought it might be a good buy if it checks out as a long term keeper, more so at the reduced price obv

This car is still being advertised. I tried to get some information out of him about it but he wasn't particularly forthcoming. It did seem to have a decent service history, at least until 2019. The lack of effort made to answer questions made me suspicious, along with the price.

I am looking for a LHD to use in the Czech Republic and around Europe, but this did seem a bit too cheap?

Agree, it seems suspicious. However, it's a car. If there's clear title and proof of current ownership, and you can get it inspected at a Ferrari centre, then if it passes that it will be, most likely, okay. If they won't allow an inspection, then walk away.....

Ferrari - there are 2 payment plans available, you either pay a large up front sum for the car, and a smaller amount to the service department to keep it, or you pay a smaller up front payment and a much larger lump sum payment to the service department and what’s left your wife takes when she divorces you.
