599 chaps, what doest thou think of:

https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202410084...

It’s been on sale for a while, my thoughts are that if she is still available come end of summer then a cheeky £60k offer and “savings” go in the fix it/fk up fund.

You know, before you basically bank rolled the European debt mountain replacing EVERYTHING on your 599, I always liked and wanted one. Then you scared the crap out of me, so now I need them to be *very* reasonably priced!

Not quite everything, I have a few more things planned paperbag

I just need at least one arm to grow back, probably after July.

And reasonable, that soon disappears when you realise what you need *fix*

No, the PASM failed on my 997 so was focused on fixing that for now... :-(

You can only use the original Graziano box and the Valeo Clutch - of course the release bearing and the actuator are different between the F1 and manual cars.

Mines in for an Alternator - it let me down getting the ferry back from the IoM a couple of weeks ago, will replace with a Bosch part,

What's everyone else up to ?

We're off to Italy in September for a road trip/wedding, which coincides with the 20th anniversary of the 599 so obligatory pit stop at its birthplace and factory tour will be weaved in !

15 nights all in:
Folkstone
Montrachet
St Moritz
St Moritz
Selva
Villa sandi - Prosecco region

Mine is currently still 'up on bricks' waiting for me to sort out life work and all the other sh!t that drags you down.

Lovely picture by the way, looks like you really enjoyed it. I think alternators are a known weak point. Also heard the same from a guy in an F12 when I was at an FOC Silverstone trackday a few years back.

Enjoy the trip to Italy. I'm more than a little jealous of you getting to eat up the miles in the 599 tongue out

I read that as yours was chopped in for an Aventadore because it let you down…

I was thinking, damn that’s brave!
