I’m wondering if anyone here has got full PPF on their 812. This is a picture of the PPF on my doors at the back edge where you can see the PPF has been cut back in the area of a swage line on the door panel. It looks pretty awful.

Is your car the same?

It's not the neatest and could certainly be better.
Hard to tell from the picture as in some areas this type of relief cut is required, however not usually this large and like I said above, could be neater.
I'd mention it to your installer, a good company should always try to find away to make something better if it's bothering the customer. Replacing the doors is no biggy.

No - mine was done using XPEL and used a pre-cut pattern specific to the car and I couldn't see any adjustments like this having been made.

I have the same on mine, a good investment as it's black.

I don't see any adjustments at all.

My F12 is over at Logic VPC now having some liquid PPF applied. From my understanding it goes on like paint then peels off later. I've heard varying opinions about the quality so let's see. Supposed to be a little better than traditional PPF as you don't see the joins.

Pleased to say the car is back and the the PPF is perfect. The PPF installer claimed it was as good as it could be until the organising dealer leaned on them and they modfied the pattern. Certainly, a relief point is required around the suage line but this is now on the inside of the door.

I'm happy, just wish I hadnt had to make an issue of it.
