The curves do allow the raindrops to flow and run in lovely directions though smile

The F12 will go down in history as one of Ferrari greatest road hits. Unless the F167 plants it straight back over the bowlers head, then I would argue the F12 will end up as THE definitive Berlinetta. The 812 crowd like to talk of its greater power or handling prowess, but frankly it’s like claiming Bruno or Joshua against Ali.

Picked mine up a few weeks ago… this was it after getting PPF’ed…. Paint was in great condition and triple layer so PPF cheaper than any kind of re spray.

As part of the deal I negotiated getting the issues with the rear light leaking fixed, some changes to the rear vents to prevent the bubbling around the grills as well.

Coming from a 991.2 GTS, performance is just a different league…. Now waiting for the rain to stop!!!!

Love the interior of yours, I must admit I was a little surprise when in saw the F12 interior really liked the lack of huge screen in the middle of the dash that all cars seem to have nowadays, will help it age well I feel.

Looks very good. What changes did you have done to the rear vents?

Read on some other forums, that you get get bubbling around the vents. They think this is due to the steel screws that fix the vents on underneath or the steel grills against the aluminium body, they run against each other of cone kind of reaction of 2 different metals causes the bubbling.

I got them to put rubber washers between the grill and the body to prevent any movement and replace the metal screws with plastic ones. Ended up being a bit more work taking the back end off than expected, but all don’t now and you’ll never tell. All done at Sevenoaks Ferrari, they were a pleasure to deal with.

I drive past the garage every day on the way to work, after the Clarkson top gear video I always loved the F12….”I think this might be bit too fast for the road” :-) When this one appeared one day, in my perfect colour combo (Rosso Fuoco and tan interior, had to do some serious man maths calculations to make it work. Can’t imagine I’ll ever sell it tbh, one of those childhood dreams come true.

As an F12 owner of 3 years, having recently paid to have rear wing vent corrosion rectified, may I suggest while you're awaiting your Garage extension to dry the rear vents spray some WD-40 and place cling film over them while parked up.
You will find it very hard to change it with another Ferrari, it really is the very best car to come out of Maranello for decades, I bought it as a stop-gap till I could find a nice Speciale, now completely in love with the character and looks can't sell it!

Drove my car up to Gullane today, East Coast of Scotland, car is incredible. I still struggle with the engine braking to an extent, just demands more of me in terms of a consistent throttle input. If you are chasing then its no issue, but on motorway cruise its best to sit with cruise control on. Lift off slows the car significantly. So far, it is so different to anything I have driven before, just a whole different experience - which is good.

Looks amazing in Silver and makes a nice change from all the Rosso Corsas.
