Thanks for the feedback Maura - great to hear your 1st hand ownership experience - much appreciated!

The coupe vs spider debate is something I’ve been thinking about myself. I’m naturally drawn to the coupe especially with the V8 on permanent show which I don’t have with the F12. That said I like the lines of the 458 spider and following a brief run in Supersports 458 spider I’m totally sold on the rear window being dropped for greater acoustic enjoyment even with the roof in place! Simple answer is that I need to get out and drive both variants back to back to decide what best fits my needs.

That said thanks to Supersports bad influence I think I need to try and 720S spider as well. Wasn’t something I’d previously considered but a F12 & 720S duo is pretty compelling as is the F12 & 458 pairing!
Both great Pairings. Enjoy the choosing process.

It’s missing loads of services. It’s worth 200k at best.

Service history is fine, it’s just missing the Covid time 2020, and they will do a fresh service after Sale. I’m more put off by the lack of miles/usage in its early years, not good for V12’s, but think it’s always a £230k car, and it was bid to £253k inc buyers fees. They priced it wrong at Auction Estimate, £280 to £340k would drive zero interest.

On Hammer Price (great App for auctions if you don’t know it) it is showing as sold for £247,500 which will be including fees.

The 812 went for 200k.

Anyone paying more than 200k for that F12 is crazy.

Watched the YouTube video, the 812 was bid to £200k plus 15% Fees so £230k, and is still for sale at £265k.

Saw the demo 12C with EHF1 plate on at Egham yesterday. Bold in yellow and looks better that in pics.

Love the honesty of this plain spec one. It’s just as it comes with no carbon. Nice miles and approved.

Is any carbon on a Ferrari structural as per McLaren / bmw i3, iX etc or is it all just embellishment

I would have liked the LED steering wheel. I think you can get it via main dealer for around £7k

Funnily enough the carbon wheel is the one non negotiable option for me on any recent Ferrari. The standard wheel seems cheap and nasty… or so I thought.
I drove the new 12C for a few hours on loan from the dealer and was embarrassed that I only noticed the lack carbon wheel when the dealer mentioned it was a shame it was missing after I’d dropped the car back!

How was the 12C? Sounds like it’s a proper all rounder with ride quality but then still goes mental …

I had the LED steering wheel on the Scuderia and I found it extremely irritating as the LEDs stay on even in top gear (pointless), so at night you have bright lights in your eyes all the time - something to keep in mind

For me the worst spec car out there. Black doesn’t do F12 too many favours, too low mileage for a 12 yr old V12, wrong wheels, no interior carbon, no LED wheel, always thought at £175k they were chancing their luck. 5000 mile cars will always have their market, so at £162k probably fair value now.
