That was a slightly facetious post back then, but with asking prices (and auction results!) continuing to creep upwards maybe I'm not being so facetious any more.

£450k for a ~20k miles LHD car doesn't seem outrageous now.

People can ask anything they like.

The big question is whether any of these cars are actually selling for these numbers.

Does this group actually have any evidence of sales taking place at these numbers?

Sad to see that mileage is still part of the conversation. A 100k mile car could be immaculate and better than a 5k car that's barely been used.

Yes, but that is DK who have a waiting database some of whom have more money than sense.

For an "ordinary" sale, say of a higher miles RHD or LHD car do we know if they're actually trading at these levels?

Couple of 7 handle EUR auction results in Europe recently so, yes, they are changing hands for big money here as well as the US.

I think UK RHD cars are a bit of a limited market. But I would say that as the owner of an Italian LHD car.
