Challenge Stradale thread
Discussion
Maybe current prices are just folks chancing what they can get away with given so few for sale, had a mild hankering to see what my 18K miles, mint red with factory stripe might be worth against a £170K 16M (truth is I one of each). The answer was "about what I paid for it" (£95K). So, while I will never complain about 18 months of depreciation free motoring (while adding 2.5K miles) it doesn't look to me like dealers are above that value for the moment on trade-ins.

Oh no I hope this isn't the start of a thread saying my £200k Strad is only worth £100k now. Always said there was potential for burnt fingers at these unjustifiable premiums.Mind you nice profit margin for dealers trying it on both ends

Nice, he makes 20K on the 16M and flips your Stradale for 50k, thats a good day at the garage, it won't be long until the Stradale is worth well more than even the most exclusive 430. Let me start the bidding at £100K for your StradaleJappo said:

If you're serious about selling ? - I can out you in touch with a few people who will bid a lot more than that.I see the one at Williams Motor co has come off and come back on the market at annother higher price, I'm loving his pricing strategy, it started in March at a fake £79K, then he refused my (buy it on trust unseen) offer of £90K because it was "still in the workshop underging enhancements", then I went and bought a different one, then he put it on the market at £89K, and as it hasn't sold over the year he has gradually increased the price every couple of weeks because nobody wants to buy it... clearly this dude knows much more about economics than I do, I should go back to school...

I'll give you £100k for it mate As I always thought there is a huge disparity between buying and selling prices on CS ( not suggesting £70k ) and dealers are prepared to price them high and let them sit there for ages if necessary until the one person with more money than sense comes along and pays what he thinks is the going price.
I can't see a Ferrari dealer buying one in at £150k and taking the chance though. They must love having a CS - buy low and sell high, lubbly jubbly profit margin
