I noticed his has got an extended steering wheel boss fitted, does anyone else have one? I'd be quite interested in what they're like as it the most annoying thing on the car for me, long arms short legs driving position.
Glad you enjoyed the vid, I use a universal steering wheel extension available via Demon Tweaks on all of my '70s and '80s Italian cars but I see Hill Engineering do a bespoke Ferrari Testarossa steering wheel extension that allows the horn to still work (unlike on my TR), link here: http://www.hillengineering.co.uk/catalog/sws02b-p-...I'll report back how I get on
Guys, anyone care to consider a reason for engine cover badging?:

Good to see strong price paid at the Silverstone Auction this afternoon for the 1991 LHD Testarossa with only 1000 (ish) miles on the clock. £207000 (my calculation to include fees + VAT) which I believe the auctioneer said was a world record. Great cars.
It also had a £10k luggage set and a £5k watch thrown in. Nevertheless a very strong price.Interesting hearing Harry's views on the 550 vs the TR. Personally, while I can appreciate the TR being a usable mid-engined supercar, perhaps friendlier than the Countach (which I think a bit garish, really - yes, it excites the 9-year-old in us all, but I'm well past that!), but I just can't live with the looks. OK, the 550 isn't the prettiest ever - it's a bit posh Supra - but I would take the 550 every time, precisely because it's only really known by the cognoscenti, and it's got those classic front-mid-engined GT proportions - it speaks to me of the 275GTB (my favourite Ferrari of all time) while being of a size that I could actually fit in it. I'd have the FHC over the drophead, though... I don't really understand the appeal of properly fast convertibles...
