testarossa thread
Discussion
Looking around for a nice example, and spotted this rather odd ball, its a Brown Testarossa.
Actually looks great for a rep to be fair, but it's running some American V6 engine:

Thought I'd seen it all!

You probably have thought of this already but perhaps for long term planning you need somewhere a bit wider than normal to park, as the doors are very deep.
Is this a wind up, looks very much like Mirlin McCormack's of "Dukes of London in Brentford 1989 Testarossa to me,a real one.Registration number DUK3M,
Was red but now in Nicciola , a Daytona colour not a Testarossa one
There's a 7 page article on the car in the August 2024 edition of Octane no 254,
There are photo's of the car but only in red on the Dukes of London web site,
Found a couple of images by googling "Octain magazine images of Ferrari Testarossa "
Not sure if this a spoof or a scam , totally confusing.

Don't you just love this modern world we have to live in,
Accoding to Instagram it is a revenge prank for comparing a 190SL to a 300SL “replica” at the iconics auction at the weekend….
A replica will always be a replica no matter how good it is or how much it costs,
Having owned 4 Cobra replica's, Proteus C type, Ram D type,Lotus 11 and a few others i'd rather not mention
l'm all for them as long as they replicate well but there's nothing like the real thing,
If my numbers came up i would be over to Super Performance on the next plane ordering my GT40, Daytona coupe,
Corvette Grand Sport, and a FIA MK2 Cobra then go in search for a lynx D type and a lightweight Etype to keep it company ,

Can't really see what the signatures add to the car tbh.A lot of them seem to be relatives of famous people, such as Fangio and Carlos Reutemann, which makes them both worthless and pointless.
If I ever bought that car, I'd have no qualms whatsoever about washing the signatures off it!
