246 Dino?

Hi all, never been near this section of p'heads before but thought I'd pop in with a little query.
A car and trailer going the opposite way on the dual carriageway passed me last week, and after doing a double take at it I'm pretty sure it was a very tatty 246 Dino; in GREEN! Was this a factory colour as I've never seen one before?

Thanks Andy. That would be near the colour of the one I saw but it looked very tatty in the fleeting glance I got, a fresh barn find perhaps? So is it a rare colour in the UK?
Hmm, think I'll keep saving for my red one!

I'm sure I've seen a Dino in a Mint Green a few years ago, i.e. a bit darker than the one pictured.
With these cars getting close to £250,000 you may need to sell a kidney too...

There were only 9 UK Dinos sold new in Verde Germoglio. 10 were sold in Verde Medio and 6 in Verde Pino (the colour of the car that was buried in LA).

Pretty sure it wasn't Germoglio, I think it was most likely Pino.

Still cannot believe they have rocketed to this value.. they were sub £50k not so long ago when the same money bought a Gen 1 996 GT3.

Me too. Bought a GT3 and for the same money coould have had a 246 - this was 2006-ish.

Just seen the 'Barn Find Dino' thread on here, that was without doubt the car I saw as it was just outside Kirkcaldy as per the auction house description. 115k !

I was sat behind red dino gt in traffic Westminster earlier. I don't know if its genuine or not but certainly pretty car.pgc 326k if anyone knows of whether its real or not.if owners on here well sir your car is beautiful.
