Thanks, the more I use it and get to know it the more fun it feels!

I even enjoy a bit if tinkering with it, maybe rather too much actually, must remember to drive it too!

Agree with Aero8 comments. Got the magazine but haven't read the article yet, but interesting that a well known Hampshire based Ferrari and Maserati dealer, have a 1989 328 GTS, very low miles, for sale at £99995.

Yet another 'Budget V8 Ferrari' article in the August issue Classic & Sportscar, comparing 308/328, 348 and 355. All good exposure, but I would like to know where they get their current values from. '328 from £35k...' Really?
I saw that, bought the mag but still not had time to read it yet. Its nice seeing the 2 cars you own on the cover of a magazine though! I've put my 355 Spider up for sale now though as I fell in love with the 308 GTBi. I actually made the trip all the way to LeMans and back in it the other week and it never missed a beat. Wonderful car!

If 328's are up at £100k, what does that put 308's at?

Take a look on here, imported late 308 GTS QVs up at £85k.

Maybe, but as Dinos are now £300k, BBs are heading towards £200k, imo that still makes 308s/328s good value at £80-100k.

Yep, that was where that pic was taken, at Tim's place.

He sourced and did the restoration work.

I can't recommend Tim at Walkersport enough, excellent work, as honest as the day is long, top man. bow

Yikes - that is impressive.
In fairness Foskers have an enviable reputation with Dinos and Boxers.

When I bought my 308 in 1998 (from Foskers as it happens), I had been speaking to KHPC and they said that many 308 owners were trading in their cars to upgrade to Boxers. The price differential at the time was £10-£15k (i.e. approximately 50 pct extra)

Crikey. I got my 308 in '99 and have always dearly loved the Boxer but couldn't live with them. I'm able to wind the 308 out around country lanes here any day of the week, but the Boxer seems hungry for big roads with fast sweepers. That's what stopped me. That's my excuse, anyway winklaugh
