355 belinetta, preferably in red, lowiish mileage and not bothered if LHD or RHD. Was at the Bonhams auction this week , missed out on a stunning LHD with 14k on the clock. Funny most cars except Porsche went below the suggested range, but a lot of interest in the 355.

Either that or a testarossa,

Happy to wait for the right car. Gives me time to find more storage!!

nice i guess there are less of the hard tops about, red was the only colour i wouldn't have but i believe the saying is re-sale red so obviously popular.... good luck with your search

You admit to not knowing a lot about 355s, so why not buy from a reputable dealer? There is a number of decent 355s around at the moment. I’d not buy from auction if I were you; you won’t be able to hear the car running or fully research its history either.

OP - my ideal spec would be similar to your own albeit in RHD. There are some price reductions recently but also a lot of cars still up for top money for over a year. I bid on a GTS which I went to see and drove last month which had been reduced after ages on the market. It then sold to someone else for the reduced asking price I was told...

I agree with the previous post above, I would personally buy from a main dealer even with the premium that goes with it...

Thanks guys.

It was actually Bonhams auction in Paris . Not your average auction. All cars are pretty much vetted As some of you know, so one can buy with a degree of confidence. Coys I hear on He other hand is more variable.

Dealer is probably the way to go, I’ll wait. I absolute hurry.
