On a Ferrari road trip in 2012, we stopped off at a hotel in Epernay on our way home, and bumped into about 7/8 genuine 250 GTO's on the 50 years anniversary tour that took in the Reims Grand Prix circuit. Amazing and unexpected sight. This one was a 275.

I wondered if anyone would spot it. Piper's blue car was at the exhibition and the information display for that car showed chassis 2643GT as well. A bit disappointing to have such a mistake at an official Ferrari exhibition!
They were also showing the film of the “Ferrari” being driven round Paris at speed (was it called rendezvous) which purported to be a Daytona but I believe was nothing of the sort. Nice to see Mason’s F40 so close up though....

This is 3729GT when it was over here in 2016 for the Concours of Elegance, looks so incongruous out in the wild, diving into bushes to avoid oncoming Artics eek

I think when the kit 1st came out the 240/ 260 was a cheap doner car with the usual rust issues,

The kit did away with a lot of the rust problems in one fell swoop, now of course they have become very collectible and desirable.

I doubt any one would use one up now for a fezza rep.

Car on You Tube filmed from the passenger seat hammering through a very quiet central London during the first lock down.
