Fabulous video made by TFJJ with amazing sounds including footage from the passenger seat of 250 GTO 3387GT being driven around London.

3387GT was recently restored by Ferrari Classiche to its original specification as at the 250 GTO's maiden race, the 1962 12 Hours of Sebring where it finished first in class and 2nd overall driven by the then F1 World Champion Phil Hill and Olivier Gendebien.

Thank you for this. No other V12 sounds like a Colombo racing engine, perhaps the McLaren F1 induction noise comes close, but this is pure music.

Chose the right time to film that, imagine doing that in normal times in central London,1st maybe 2nd gear if your lucky crawl to the next set of lights or junction, Makes a nice change from the usual red, By far the best video i've watched for a long time. Now i'm off the buy the winning lottery ticket. Thank you very much for posting .driving

Yea saw that when it came out, it's all over the net.
Very brave to do what he was doing through the streets.
Does anyone know if this GTO was at the 250 GTO celebrations maybe 4 or 5 years ago?
I do know that after they left Lemans there was one in a crash in the street. Is this the rebuilt car or was that another one.
Here are a couple of videos I took of 14 or 15 iirc 250 GTOs when they arrived at Lemans in convoy.

Good videos of the 250 GTOs you posted. Thanks. I don't remember seeing 3387GT on a recent tour. The car that crashed was on the 2012 Tour which was chassis number 3445GT.

Stupid rather than brave, methinks.

There's a time and a place for everything and that was neither.

Much more sensible : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KHgD0wJGcR0&t=...

Fantastic videos of the GTO's arriving at Le Mans BTW, they must have made one hell of a sight smile

Fantastic thank you all and please keep them coming. Big difference to the old days when most of my GTO fix came from books such as Jess Pourret's.

Fantastic. Does anyone know the ownership history of this? I’m always intrigued by the types of people that come to own cars of this stature.

Excellent video if a tad irresponsible. Although I don't think he's going that fast really. Just seems it with the noise and tall buildings. A race winning GTO being driven on empty London streets, a rare and fantastic sight indeed. I wonder how many of the few onlookers realised that the 'boy racer' they just saw is the most expensive car in the world.

One of my favourite car videos, don't know how many times I've watched that! Phil Hill's son driving his Dad's GTO on a twisty mountain road -the stuff of dreams, just amazing.

Fair one, I do actually have it packed away somewhere in a box!

Perhaps the racetrack is the best place for a GTO.
