That engine is a work of art, your Testarossa looks a lovely example.

The engine bay, or lack of it, is something sorely missing from modern day Porsches whereas Ferrari, gladly, still make a feature.

Look forward to hearing your driving impressions. Should be some nice weather around this weekend..

Congrats on getting the Testarossa, looks like new in the photo,

My short list when shopping around came down to a Testarossa or a 430 but on the practicalities of the 430 won over having a tight amount of room to swing any car in the garage let alone one as wide as these and especially with no power steering .

The 430 is a sweet heart but having come from a Countach almost feels too normal in comparison and sometimes feel that the Testarossa would have been a better compromise.

After saying that it was a 2 man job getting the Countach in and out of the garage which did stop me using it a lot of the time when i was the only one in .

So still haven't scratched that itch as yet, will be interesting to hear your thoughts on living with it.

Noticed in the photo's that the exhausts look quite narrow ,are they standard.
If so maybe Mrs JonnyTVR knows what to get you for Christmas.

Thanks Guys.

The problem I have with my garage is the depth but it just fits with about 7 cm at each end.

I will let you know what the driving impressions are.

It has a standard exhaust which can't imagine will be there for long, although on harry metcalfe is running a standard exhaust and he says that the noise comes from the engine and it does sound very good in his video

Well done, these are proper cars. They need to be driven and hard too.

I have the infamous one off Larini exhaust still available off my old car. Henry Catchpole said he had never heard anything quite like it on any road....

Sounds exciting,as long as you don't want to do track days,
I have to change my straight through system to the standard stainless steel exhaust on my track day 308 GTB every time i go on track . Lucky it's not that hard a job, Crazy i can drive with the a open exhaust on the road but not on the track but thanks to covid 19 haven't done much in the way of track work this year.

Sorry don't know how to link, not tech minded," The Testarossa Story/Drive Film." On the" Drive channel"
Might be worth a look.

Funny that, I wouldn't be much good at stripping and rebuilding an engine. Not exactly a techie either really smile
