Ferrari 328gts rev counter dead

Hi,
I started my 1986 328 gts yesterday and unfortunately the rev counter has given up on me. Searching these pages and ferrari forums I found quite a few in the US have had this issue and its was rectified by posting it out to a specialist who carried out the repair.
Could anyone recommend a uk based company that could repair it? Or even better, tell me what to check for a simple fix?
I have checked the battery earths and they are all good.

Try JDO Instruments for a repair service. I've not used them, but they appear to have a good reputation amongst those that have.
