2008 Superleggera Register
Discussion
That's not a bump, this is a bump...

I can't believe it has been almost four years since this arrived one sunny Friday afternoon. The car is currently having her big service with a little bit of cosmetic work - having those aftermarket shields finally removed and new Superleggera decals added (£700 per side from Lamborghini I understand).

Why do you need new Superleggera decals? Jet wash accident?
Just part of her refresh - to be honest they were becoming a pain to keep black, probably due to UV or previous treatments. The goal is to get the car back to factory fresh condition after 20,000 miles and seven years on the road - just a thorough detail and steering wheel recover to go!
BTW, I saw you were interested in a California elsewhere on here, if you ever decide to sell let me know.

Top stalking

You want a second one in the same colour? It would save you the hassle of refurbishing though and would wind the odometer back considerably

Just without as good a service history!

Always tempted to get another!

TBH I have a couple of bits I'd like to get done on mine to bring back to perfect showroom condition, the heatshield has a slight crease in it and some paint has flaked off the gearbox cover underneath the car

LOL, sounds like a complete dog!

You still enjoying yours?
I've posted once or twice recently but I've never put fingers to keyboard so to speak here... so here goes..
At the end of March I was very lucky to pick up my stunning "Grey" Superleggera Mk1 formally of Simon Shaw's and Paul T's ownership. Bought from Pangbourne, this is my first foray into Lamborghini ownership having been in a string of Sportscars, Porsche mainly. The car's condition was testiment to the previous owners. I'll be doing my part to keep it tiptop! I've had such a positive reaction from so many people who want to know more about the car, passers-by etc. It does make owning a car like this more special.
Since collecting I've done a few half-decent drives, trip to Auto Italia with a small group from Pangbourne. I'll be giving it's first proper outing at the end of June going on a French road trip.
Until then it's had a full detail including the replacement of it's old PPF with some nice new stuff. It looks the business. The plate has been changed to my personal plate S1 CLU (was S15 GSL/FB07 AUL).
Just a few piccies of my recent detail here.

Hopefully will see you at some upcoming functions in the near future.
Cheers,
Simon
