As above really - wondered if anyone made the change and what they thought of making the change? Thanks....

Yep done this a few years back!
The 458 was a great car, however the Huracan is in my view a different drive for all the right reasons!
I had the Huracan for 4 weeks prior to ordering the Spyder and love the car to bits.

I've had both yes, loved the 458 great car however the Huracan is a step up, the gearbox is better the engine stronger the car quicker. On top of all that it looks more extreme imo.
Wouldn't be to upset with either tho, but I do prefer the Lambo!

Steve.

The 458 is undeniably a great car but the Huracan just makes you and everyone around smile...

We all know how good the 458 is/was but the Huracan reviews are not that favourable. Yes it looks and sounds good but dynamically its seems to get a lot of criticism and some even say its quite conservative and tame looking for a Lamborghini ( a point I don't necessarily agree with ).

From my experience its heavy, the steering is a bit squishy and not the best seating position or driving view in comparison to a 458.

The Huracan spyder for some reason seems even more compromised - I think its the rake of the windscreen and the roof line making the driving position and field of vision even worse than the coupe and impossible for anyone over 5'8"

You haven't owned a 458 or Huracan so any any thoughts you have from reading magazines or wasting garages time joy riding their demo's is useless much like most of your posts..

Whereas your comments like above are worse than useless. Do you ever have a worthwhile opinion or do you just prefer to troll

Doesn't phoenixuk own both these cars. I'd say he's fairly well qualified to answer

Comments with regard visibility out of the Huracan are hugely exaggerated by many on these forums. Sure it's not as good as a Mondeo but they're perfectly safe and visibility out of the back is fine given the large side mirrors and slatted/glazed rear cover, no worse than any other supercar I've owned. You'll find a 430 Ferrari convertible is compromised by the rake of the screen unless you have none motorized seats if youre a taller driver!
It's also worth mentioning the H came out 4 years later than the 458 so you'd expect it to be further advanced.

Come on people! What's the matter with you.

You should know by now that whatever rambolambo happens to own (at time of posting) is the best looking, fastest performing & appreciating asset in the whole wide world.

We know this because he told us. Any other opinions we may hold on the subject are trolling.

Actually Rambo, as an 'owner' I gave over a very valid piece of information, something you are incapable of giving (remember the thread title, no?) and that is that these cars are, in my opinion all about how they make you feel, and as I said the Huracan makes me and 'most' other people smile, the Ferrari, as good as it is doesn't.

and..

How you can accuse me of trolling is hysterical you are without doubt the biggest troll on here, you hijack threads with your inane magazine copied thoughts of every car you have never owned, you are a bore, go look after that bridge of yours..

Well IF that is the case it would be interesting to hear his opinion, even if it differs from mine, rather than pathetic retorts.

Don't expect everyone to agree with me on every subject but at least I say it how I see it

Why don't you spend a few moments to check out his garage? It's an impressive array of vehicles that he owns and has owned.

Also don't you ever take a step back and wonder why you continually antagonise and upset many posters? Surely at some point there comes a time to question whether you might actually be part of the problem?

It's all so unnecessary.

Surely I'm allowed to express an opinion ? This is a forum for discussion and not a self appreciation society.
Personally I don't feel the need to list my current or past cars for what its worth.

If he has owned both, great lets hear his opinion

Are you accusing me of lying regarding what cars I own or have owned? You really are a pathetic little man, I assume you are a man if not then I
apologise.

MY apologies to the originator of this Forum post it was not my intention for this to go off in this direction, sorry.

Having been posting on here for a relatively short time I'd respectfully suggest you read back through this and many other threads that RL has posted in the past and you'll find under this and his previous guise of GBR430 or whatever he has managed to ps off more people than any other on here.
You can't defend the indefensible!

@RamboLambo

You obviously can write whatever you think. What doesn't make sense is why you then continually question people's attitude to your posts with respect to your responses! That's a disturbing sign of lack of self awareness.

But go ahead post away. It takes all sorts to make a society. Good luck.

You have no opinion. Everything that you post on here is purely regurgitated from whatever McLaren review you have just knocked one out to. You bang on about having unique insight in supercars after 25 years 'in the trade' and yet I don't actually recall a single supercar Kia have ever made, so that's a bit like boasting about having 25 years engineering experience because you work at B&Q.

You demonstrate nothing but a superficial knowledge of anything supercar related, copying and pasting the term 'carbon tub' into every repetitive, cringe worthy post doesn't count. And yet you seem to genuinely believe you're some sort of supercar guru on here. Anyone with any true love of supercars and the actual driving of them, wouldn't have bought two near identical cars either. What sort of dim witted moron buys a 650S then a 570S to squeeze into the tiny garage next to it when there is such an array of exceptional, varied machinery on offer? Maybe it's just to spice things up a bit in the garage....

Despite countless requests from fellow contributors on here for you to 'give it a rest', you continue to post the same drivel, deliberately wind people up and make frequent, pathetic references to your wealth and assets, I have news for you, no one cares. You don't impress anyone with your school yard "I'm richer than you" nonsense... which I'm sure is inherited or won anyway seeing as Kia don't exactly pay their customer service reps supercar salaries.

How you don't feel like the world's biggest bellend is beyond me, I would feel downright embarrassed by what most people on almost every car forum think of you. I can't believe you haven't been banned by now... "IMHO".

I apologize to other contributors on here for my rant and for feeding the RL troll again. I'm sure that this post will reflect negatively on me for getting personal but so be it, if I get banned then it's no big loss, this place has gone downhill since RL started posting anyhow.
