Got to take my car over to the dealership in Manchester for it's 1st MOT. Car booked in and courtesy car ordered. I asked what sort of car the courtesy one will be and it's a Audi A6. Soooo disappointed. Now I wasn't expecting a Huracan Performante (Secretly I was) or an Aventador (Yes please) but a sodding Audi! At a pinch I would have hoped for a Maserati ghibli hell I could slum it in a Bentley. But an Audi!!! How will I stand out in a sodding Audi. fk my life.

Is this classified as a first world problem?

It's classed as a shut the fk up. Get over yourself, and if you're that bothered about your image, rent something.

Art least I will be able to tailgate everyone on the drive home and it being deemed normal Audi driver behaviour.

I'm surprised they offered you anything for just an MOT!

I was loaned a Ghibli once (for a service which took 3 days) but just decline the offer of a courtesy car now. Too much hassle IMHO

Joke comment really perhaps I should have added a smiley somewhere. I don't really give a toss what it is as long as it gets me home. Car has terrible wind noise coming from the passenger window so it will be in for a while apparently.

Lambo Factory carpark is almost exclusively Audis, they do own them you know.

Because some people feel genuinely "entitled" to fancy loan cars.

A smiley would have helped,as mentioned.......cool

Cant believe it wasn't even a R8, though then you would have had to put up with the "nice audi mate" comments.
I had a 570 GT for a couple of days when my 650S was in for a service

Get a cheap Boxster. Not unusual for the dealer to hand out a base 911 during service for a day or two driving

Mine is booked in at Pangbourne for a 6th Annual and MOT (18 hours so dropping off Monday and collecting Wednesday). I have also booked a courtesy car, so very much looking forward to trying out the Aventador S that Craig will have organised for me....cool

^ this is the answer. Having shared similar feelings about the Volvo I was driving on a previous service the upgraded LP560 spyder the year after was a very welcome change. I've been out of nice cars for a few years but looking forward to the next service due in Sept...

Awww man ... I'm off to the shop to buy some frozen sausages, some red bull and then write a strongly worded email.

Knew I should have taken it to Pangbourne.

Slight problem with that option is that I am a poor super car owner that only owns the one. biggrin
