There are already a few Rosso Mars Performantes on the roads in the UK.
Boo. Haven't heard or seen any myself and I'm the only red car via my local lambo dealer who also said he hadn't heard or seen any others. Not surprised though as it looks so good and different to the regular and popular green, orange or white ones.
My red Gallardo Performante Edizione tecnica really stood out from the crowd lol but I think the Huracan somehow looks even better in red
I wanted orange but sadly the Arancio Borealis wasn't bright enough for me and looked a little washed out compared to say McLaren Ventura Orange which I adore.
May go down the ad personum route on the performante spider if they can replicate ventura orange or will default to lambo's verde mantis which is equally vibrant

Finally spec'd and locked my build in just before Christmas. Went with "Ad Personam" Blu Cepheus, with Bianco Leda highlights on the Bicolore Performante interior:
Opted for most options. Had LDS (Dynamic Steering) spec'd originally, but pulled it at the last minute. Time will tell if that was the right idea, but I felt more comfortable with my spec with it off, rather than included. I also noted that the UK press-car (the Italian-plated Arancio Anthaeus one) that is doing the rounds with Autocar, Chris Harris et al for all the COTY-style reviews recently didn't have LDS either, which I thought was rather telling.
Car arrives in May, and I'm like a kid at Christmas (again!) already. Going to be a long 4 months!

It looks fantastic in that colour, I left off the LDS as well on my spec, ours cars are arriving the same time (May), be sure to post some pictures of it in the flesh please.Opted for most options. Same spec as my old Gallardo Performante. My car comes in February, been a long wait since the initial previews!
Also left LDS off after reading the reviews and racing drivers opinions. I think by the sounds of it the Performante LDS is better than the standard original LDS on early cars but even so I prefer a regular and consistent steering feel without the aids which make it too variable. If you can manoeuvre and park old supercars pre power steering I'm sure not having LDS on a Huracan is not going to be an issue.
LDS just varies the steering ratio from what I understand it. The assistance is still varied in each mode even with the passive setup?
What I would like to know is what the fixed steering ratio is on the passive rack. I do like a fast steering ratio (which is one of the reasons I like my Giulia and Z4M Coupe - 11.8:1 and 12.8:1 respectively).
I read a post over on one of the Lamborghini Forums (can't find it at the moment to link to it though) that LDS varies anywhere from 9:1 to ~17.6:1... that seems like a huge variation!
Have to say I'm even more relaxed about my decision now after hearing more people have had the same thoughts though!

I had a deposit down for a Performante Spyder, but decided to pull it. My existing Huracan would be less than 2yrs old when the Performante would be delivered and as I'd spec'ed it quite heavily e.g. race exhaust, centre locks, I decided that the Performance wouldn't be different enough for me.
I really shouldn't have looked in this thread.........

Managed to get a June slot from a cancelled order, will keep the Spider order on the books too. Useful suggestions on extras so thanks for that. I know it's not a limited run model but does anyone know roughly how many they are planning on making ? Seem to be quite a few available at 20-30% premium but I'd guess that all of that is dealer mark up !

I’ve just acquired a HP at just above list, I was offered another couple of cars privately again just above list. I’m guessing the dreamers who have their cars at 20-30% above list will end up selling and at best breaking even after paying dealer commission at maybe 7-8k in charges.I looked at buying a 720 and again cars at silly prices but a couple at list or just below easily availabilie.
Advertised prices are a nonesense at the moment in my opinion, buyer beware!
The Performante is epic by the way(-;

When was it due for delivery?
I'm the first in the queue for a spider at my local Lamborghini dealer and I've been told I can spec it at Geneva with a Q4 2018 delivery date. Seems to be broadly similar to the coupe last year. TBH I'm in no great rush to take it in the middle of winter and probably would of only had the coupe for 9 months so I'm easy with the actual delivery dateGassing Station | Gallardo/Huracan | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
