Btw I can’t get the the traffic info on the Nav working, any idea on how to enable the TMC function please?
I would suggest apple carplay, 100x better than the built-in system. But if you do insist using it, you need to go to NAV=> setting => dynamic traffic avoidance =>ON, then you should see a small TMC symbol turning white. If it is in grey, it means no TMC information. If TMC is disabled, no symbol is shown. You can press info to see the individual TMC items. This only gives you the locations of incidents from TMC but it doesn't show the traffic in around areas. A massive queue may have already built up 5 miles from the incidents but this cannot be displayed... so i think Tomtom/Carplay does a better job. I have not yet found a way to show the traffic condition for the whole route so I always use Carplay although I also struggle to find space for my smartphone (and keys, wallet, water etc) ...

2. I declined the £2500 Navtrak system and the Lambo dealer fitted me a far better £900 Global telematics system ( with mobile app and website etc... )with no issue for car or warranty
my franchise dealer refused to touch this system and said they do not want to change anything installed by the factory... I argued a few times from the very beginning to the collection and then gave up. This factory system is so bad - no app support, no web support, no geofence and is so expensive! More importantly, if you want to call vodafone, you will wait for a very long time. (i called them 3 times for different reasons and on average, i waited 15 mins.) plus they only work from 8AM to 5PM Mon to Friday!!! Honestly, my neighbour's BMW 1series can do more (real time tracking, geo fence etc, sending destinations from smartphone, remotely open doors or turn on headlights)!littletiger said:

It appears that I don’t have the ‘dynamic traffic avoidance’ option on the nav settings menu, so must be some factory software/setup issue which needs addressing...
So back to the dealer..
Cheers!

I cant get it to work either. My UK Dealer told me that no Huracan variants support TMC in the UK, as it's a licensed product that requires a fee, which Lambo choose not to pay. I understand mainland Europe is fee free, so it does work there. Rather poor if that's true. Particularly as the NAV is sold as having TMC in the brochure and price list, which of course are caveated with changes can be made at anytime blah blah. Please do report back on any solution offered by your dealer.

Well that’s poor if that’s the case, as I can’t believe the license would cost more than a few pounds per car..Please do report back on any solution offered by your dealer.
Btw, we checked a few other cars in the showroom and none of them had it either, my car was checked on the computer and no faults or updates were showing... So they’re contacting Lambo HQ to see what the story is, and I’ll let you have the response when they get back to me...
So who, and what model/yr actually have TMC/traffic avoidance functioning?

Indeed. ITIS holdings certainly used to be the commercial operator in the UK and their fee is in that region. I recall when Aston were using the Volvo DVD nav system they had not subscribed. In a Volvo with the same system, no problem. Applying a Volvo nav update to the aston wouldn't fix it (it would update the maps ok) - the "access code/licence" was built into the O/S of the nav unit. It took a refreshed car model with a Volvo sourced HDD nav to get TMC to work.s2000d said:

I'll try and see which cars, if any, have TMC next time I go in to the dealer.WCZ said:

I kind of a agree with you.
Lambos aren't what they used to be and with them being VAG I think it's reasonable to expect a working sat navSo to conclude Lambo drivers who need a satnav to work because they are embarking on a serious trip that involves serious miles are not proper Lambo owners?
Whereas storing a Lambo for six months because they don’t want to get it wet in the winter and not needing a satnav because the trip round the block is memorised fully qualifies you as “proper Lambo” man.
Seen it all now......

Yes mine was stored over the winter as out in the country you get these cheeky little buggers called mice. They chew stuff, like the inside of my old lotus for example. And shock horror, I've driven mine in the wet and nothing happened to it. True story. Whereas storing a Lambo for six months because they don’t want to get it wet in the winter and not needing a satnav because the trip round the block is memorised fully qualifies you as “proper Lambo” man.

As for not using the sat nav, well mine is a disc one and is crap so the phone is a lot better but I tend to find that there is these things called road signs. It's a novel concept really, one I believe has been around for some time that direct you to places of interest and cities. You might see them on the motorway for example. Big blue things that say which exit to take. Good eh! Once there I tend to use the phone if going to a specific place that doesn't usually have a road sign.
Oh and the trip "round the block" where I live is about 20 miles and yes it is memorised otherwise I would never get home and that would be terrible.
