Is there a difference between Monterey Blue and Blu Nethuns?
Same colour, name change was down to the dealer that commissioned it defrauding Lambo, same with Rosso Vik becoming rosso efesto

Thanks

Didn't know that.

My first Lamborghini (6th Gallardo Spyder in the country at the time) was Rosso Vik!

That looks very special indeed, enjoy.
That does look stunning and its the colour i keep going back to on the configurator. The wheels do look far better than the black as they don't disappear into the tyre.Tried the comfy seats at Geneva and i thought they were awful so the buckets are a must for a car like this.
Enjoy

Cheers, cant disagree with anything you say but I don't want them to be too common so I can highly recommend Verde Mantis which also looks magnificent and is my first choice and going on the spyder as I don't do back to back colours on cars if I can avoid it biggrin

Would like to see Giallo Inti with that wheel colour in the flesh but the Red does look good biggrin

Yeah me too. The Bronze wheels naturally lend themselves to the 2 Oranges IMHO but I wasn't so keen on the matt finish and was only 50/050 on Arancio Borealis when viewed on the configurator. When I eventually saw one physically I did think it worked well and could of ordered it but it was too late anyway.

Strangely enough the bronze wheels seem to go with pretty much every colour for some reason. They also look good on black and white cars.

I've never been a fan of black wheels as you lose the detail of the alloy wheel design and it merges with the tyre and wheel arch IMHO.
The Narvi is such a nice design wheel you want to highlight it not hide it although its going to be a pig to clean biggrin

Never really been a matt fan at all with any car.The wheels do seem to go with every colour in Gold on the configurator.Would like to go and see a few cars delivered over the summer in the different colours.

Would secure your build slot with a deposit now and sort out the spec nearer the time as my local dealer is already taking orders for Q1 2019 and production will stop by June 2019. Won't be a massive amount of slots left and you don't want to rely on a cancellation

So on the spur of the moment I popped into my local dealer as I was in London today and I noticed they had a slightly used orange car I fancied having a look at, when I enquired about the this car and how much it could come for I was told they had a brand new black car unregistered that I could collect next week for list money.

So anyway deal done and pretty excited, question is do i wack a VF supercharger kit on it as I'm sure it will feel slow compared to my old 720?

I'm also debating on getting the Matt look PPF applied but I'm not sure I could deal with the shiny black edges on everything it doesn't cover - what are people's thoughts on this and has anyone had the Matt stuff applied?

Kerrching, your lucky day stumbling across one as they are trading at £30 -50k over list currently for a used one.

If you are not so keen on the colour why don't you wrap it orange. Just had mine fully PPF and TBH you can't see any exposed edges unless you are looking through a microscope.
Whilst 720S is faster it doesn't feel or sound as fast as the Performante.
Performante is far more track focussed, stripped out, harder suspension, rawer, edgier, faster throttle response with a mental soundtrack.
Supercharger would ruin it IMHO

A supercharger shouldn't diminish the noise or fun of a Performante at all; a twin turbo set up would probably ruin it though.

I wouldn’t super charge, turbo charge or whatever, while the 720 might have have the upper hand in the dry and in a straight line the Performante is very quick in out and around the corners and that’s the fun bit!

Very quick off the line at the traffic light Grand Prix as well. The 4 x 4 means you can get all the power down without any drama.
Boy does it sound awesome as well. Way louder than the standard Huracan sports exhaust even before its run in and coked up a bit.
Lamborghini have hit the ball out of the park with the Performante.
Spot on for a special occasion weekend SUPERcar but still useable daily in town in Strada mode. The variance in settings is very noticeable which is great

Test drive one recently, awesome bit of kit but I couldn't get over the roofline in my view out! Anyone over 6' will need to get used to this very annoying eyesore!

Agree its like looking through a letterbox compared to a McLaren and not ideal if you are tall. Fortunately I'm a short ar53 at 5'9". The spyder is worse again as I swear the windscreen is even more raked. Bucket seats sit lower than the sport/comfort seats so probably better for tall people although they are fixed

I'm 6' and a tiny bit, and own a Spyder. It's not as comfortable as I would have liked / hoped, with my head all but touching the roof. But its a compromise worth making. I don't feel unduly rattled when I get out of it, but I must say that the first time I sat in one I was a little alarmed - but carried on regardless in fulfilling my life's dream!!! I wouldn't say the visibility is a particular issue for me, but I can imagine another inch would make all the difference :-)

My frustration with the Performante, given I understand you get it on the Aventador S, is the fact you can't customise the modes. It is phenomenal in Corsa though.

I had a great time at Imola last week. I got a set of Trofeo Rs fitted and even in the wet they were good. In fact I was keeping up with a timid German guy driving around his Huracan GT3 car!

However, the best - and most Italian - part of the trip was doing some donuts in the carpark behind the pits. I insisted my partner had a go, which she did a fine job of. We then drove out of the exit (her driving) where a security guard marched up to tell me off. Upon realising it was RHD and my partner was driving, he broke into a massive grin and gave her a high five!

Enjoy your cars, boys and girls.
