So price watch starts on the Performante! Shame really because mines going to be worth tuppence because I’m going to keep on driving the bloody thing and not do what has happened to most of the Speciales and that’s that they have become ornaments.

My dealer is calling it a H replacement, I think it's more of a refresh. No word if the V10 will stay NA due to emissions regulations . I was also told by someone at HQ that the production numbers for the HP are pretty low. Some dealers haven't even received MY19 allocations and might only get a handful with majority been spyders.

I'll be attending the one off project event in NYC in a couple weeks. They'll be previewing the upcoming Aventador replacement at this event as well so maybe we'll get some insight on the future H as well.

This article suggests that the next Huracan will be a hybrid.

I've read somewhere the V10 will be electrically boosted because they don't want to downsize and use turbos.

So question remains if the MY20 Huracan V10 will get the hybrid tech or not . Right now it sounds to me like it'll be mid-life refresh with no major changes to the V10 but who knows.

Anyway you slice it the HP is a good car to pick up because it could possibly be the last performance variant NA V10 and unless HQ increases MY19 allocations (very unlikely) you're looking at fairly low production numbers.

Rather than starting a new thread, this seemed to be a reasonable place to ask some Performante related questions.

1. The Performante manual does not specify a torque setting for the 5 bolt wheels. Dealer says it’s 160NM another forum says 140 NM. Anyone have a decider? Centre locks are specified at 600NM.

2. Performantes in the UK come with a factory supplied, dealer fit (note not factory fit) Cat5 tracker monitored by Vodafone. The tracker hardware is an old ~2014 era (presumably cheap end of line job lot) system that is Cat5 standard inc ADR, but does not permit live tracking, geofencing, speed limit alerting, service mode, web or app based tracking. The dealer says they can’t touch it, Vodafone say it can’t support addditional services. Other than installing a second modern tracker with the risk of warranty voidance if any electrical gremlins appear, has anyone found a solution to enable modern tracker functionality?

1. Performantes are different wheel nuts to regular Huracan and when I had my wheels ceramic coated the dealer told me it was 160 NM. I'm guessing regular Huracan is 140 NM

2. I declined the £2500 Navtrak system and the Lambo dealer fitted me a far better £900 Global telematics system ( with mobile app and website etc... )with no issue for car or warranty

Was that a franchised dealer? Would you mind sharing which one? Local dealer said to me they wouldn’t touch anything other than the factory supplied one....

Why do Lamborghini dealers charge an additional delivery fee above base prices - is it the same flat fee across all dealers? Is it up for negotiation?

That's a good point and not something I even thought about. Is picking the car up from Italy an option?

Nope, still £3k for the privilege apparently.

Just be happy you don't get charged the additional mandatory $14k for air freight to Canada, close to $17k for the Aventador.

I’ve ordered one of these. If it does what it says, it seems an ideal solution.

Dealer says all Huracan’s no longer come with a tyre mobility kit as of earlier this year. No bother to me as long as the Lambo recovery service (whoever operates that) doesn’t require a confirmation that the tyre mobility gunk has been attempted and failed like certain other brands’ outsourced recovery providers require, although it’s easy to answer the question to say “yes I tried it and no it didn’t work”.

Performante now has a specifically tailored outdoor cover, accessory part number 4T0860635.

I installed the above tracker in a suitable place. No problems, works as advertised.

Has anyone got TMC to work in the UK (as distinct from TP) as its options are all missing from my Nav menu.

Just wondering if anyone has realised / had the same as me:...

I have the 5 bolt bronze wheels which need a torx head to take the wheels off. The one supplied in the Lamborghini boxes is a Torx T80 but the size of the bolts on the wheels is a Torx T70, so basically could not remove a wheel with the torx head provided.

Just found it a little strange that the wrong one was provided but I do believe the size torx on a normal Huracan is a T80 so Lamborghini must have just stuck the same one in the box for the Performante, unless my car was a Friday afternoon build and it was just me confused

I'm still waiting for one from the dealer which has been on back order for 3 months with lamborghini even though you can buy it straight off the shelf for £10 from any decent motor factor.
Go figure

I ordered one from ebay for the meantime. Lots to choose from, wide pricing spread, I chose one around £9. Seems ok in the (hopefully) unlikely event i'll need it.
