Who's getting one.

Some early reviews are worrying about the dull V8 turbo noise. Certainly the best-looking SUV around right now.

Whilst I'm not keen on the whole performance 4 x 4 type of vehicle its probably the nicest one out there. Still wont be buying one though.
At least Lamborghini should be able to make a good chelsea tractor

It’ll be interesting to see it in the flesh.
I regret not buying an LM002 years ago. In some ways, the truest Lambo of all??

From what i've seen on the net it's ok, but I've been told pictures do not do the car any justice so let's see!

the proportions are certainly different to other SUVs - 5.11 x 2.02 x 1.64

I think it's very cool and in a class of it's own.

Really hate the name though.

I have one on order as well.
It will be interesting to see the actual size of the car, as from the images i am not 100% sure this will be a true SUV
What date have you got for delivery of yours?

I'd have certainly considered it with a v10 but as a v8 I think I'll pass.

When you finally get to appear on the cover of Time magazine your time is up - and people will look back and see that the arrival of the Urus was the top of the supercar market.

Subjectively it is by far the best looking SUV on the market, but that’s it.

Ironically advertised as the “lowest SUV” on the market it doesn’t even carry a proper Lamborghini engine. It won’t do anything better than any of the current SUV offerings. It is simply an expensive iteration to let other road users know that you might have more money than them.

It is an anathema to the Lamborghini brand.

But lamborghini are in the business of making money and they will take oodles from the peacocks of society. You can’t blame them.

Nothing wrong with being a peacock in an Aventador, Murci, Diablo etc but everything wrong with trying to be a peacock in a Urus!

It will mark the top of the market.

Admittedly if it posts incredible lap times I’ll take some of the sentiment back.

But it will still mark the top of the market as manufacturers reach the zenith of soaking up the last vestiges of finance driven demand with ever desperate product lines that bastardise their heritage.

If it had a V10 or better the V12 it would have some morsel of justification, but without that or significant relative lap times my instinctive reaction to any purchaser who drives by will be to let out an internal belly laugh!

Whilst I understand the sentiments, for me the key thing is that the projected sales and hopefully associated profits will allow Lamborghini to continue to develop their other lines such as the Huracan and Aventador. It may even allow them to continue with naturally aspirated engines beyond what might otherwise not be economically viable assuming more and more costs to meet emissions regulations. Anyway I think what I mean is that overall it could benefit those of us that love the V10/V12 products 😀

Quite.
It’s been described to me as WOW, “a comical family car”; sounds incredible, ceramic brakes, rear wheel steering, dual clutch, heads up display - a proper Lamborghini.
We shall see.

The Urus is the most desirable SUV on the planet right now. It is at the top of the tree.

The days of wacky V12 experiments that nearly bankrupt the company are long gone. People need to move on.

Yes, the Urus is a rebadged Cayenne. But think of it this way -- Usain Bolt and Fatman Scoop are 99.9% the same... but the 0.1% that makes all the difference sets them miles apart...
