So currently, ‘used’ cars are currently 10-15% less than new cars including options etc, and people are concerned??

Wow, how do people sleep at night... lol. Any other sector of the car market, people would be over the moon with that performance in the current economic climate... imo, ymmv...

Not disagreeing. But the point seems to be more that discounts are available so paying list seems like bad consumer advice, regardless of what you think happens to used values

Anyone seen or driven a new car with a GPF? There might be a reason they’re offering discounts... confused

SCD have a nicely spec’d Perf on their Instagram for £199k which looks great value.

Interesting that standard 2014 Huracans are still list at £140k+. Surely that gap isn’t sustainable?

It's the matte black HP. It's not just the used HP's seeing price reductions, the AV S is dropping fast and so is the SV. Makes you wonder what will happen to SVJ prices in the current market. I assume financing is getting tougher to obtain and the uncertainty of Brexit has a lot of people worried. Prices might rebound on the HP once it goes out of production.

That been said, the HP is holding up pretty well in the US. Only high mileage or poorly spec'd HP's have seen drops.

Well it's safe to say that a rainy, grey December is not the ideal time for the Spyder to be delivered but I'm not sure I care, the thing is epic !

Most observers here who comment on prices are right in many ways and none of us really want to suffer notable losses, especially with the Brexit clouds that without doubt are going to get darker before they pass. All I can say is that I'd preferred to have it in the spring, I'd prefer there not being a number of ( mostly coupe's ) on the second hand market so quickly and I'd prefer I didn't live in a country that the politicians have royally fck'd up but I can't affect any of those issues. What I can do is go out in the somewhat damp Sunday weather and have some fun, albeit at probably 30% max of the cars potential. Roll on March smile

Picked up my Performante Spyder on Friday afternoon. Not the best weekend to pick up a convertible super car but have been out for a few drives when the weather has allowed! Suffice to say so far the car is amazing. The difference between Strada and Sport is ridiculous - the car drives in such a relaxed and chilled out manner in strada you could cover vast distances so easily and it almost makes a mockery of being labelled an impractical supercar... switch to sport and the whole car is changed and it comes completely alive. It has a completely different personality. The sound is sublime... if you were 'designing' a car to sound in a particular way, you'd probably end up with something similar to this. Have only been through a couple of small tunnels but it is seriously addictive and very theatrical.

Having come from a McLaren 650S spider, the Huracan is deficient in only one area, and that's the boot space. Looking forward to persuading the wife to travel light next time we go away. biggrin

Congrats on the car and of course pics are mandatory. Fear not, we managed 15 days round Europe in Sept in the Huracan Spyder. Apparently ‘capsule wardrobe’ is the concept to use. Whatever that means...
