Anyway, I’ve been told by my business partner that I have to spec one of these this weekend with him, for us to share (long story but I’m certainly not complaining) and I see some messages below saying that we may not be able to still order a new coupe?

Can anyone confirm what they are still taking orders for?

Thanks in advance!

Do you lot always bicker this much in the Lamborghini forum? You make the News & Politics section look like Sunday school.

You drive incredibly desirable £200k+ Italian sports cars. Not sure you’ve got a whole lot to be that angry about.
For proper bickering you need to go to the Mclaren section(-;

... plus you would think that if I dealer actually sell with a £35K discount, they'd want to make damn sure that no one else found out about it ??
Yes agreed, if a dealer looked after you to this degree I doubt he’d do it again after announcing it to the world!

Got on this post late but was just browsing internet to see if orders still being taken for the Perfromante, as I’ve just ordered mine.

I was told by the dealer that the window was closing for orders and I needed to get mine in by end of October to secure a final build slot.

I paid full fat price, no discounts and the option list has taken its toll on the total number...

Verde Mantis with black centre hub wheels and comfort seats, the buckets are unusable. Took one up to 182mph on a test drive at Millbrook, red-lined in first 6 gears, absolutely terrifying!

Excited is an understatement, expected delivery March.

Ok I’ll spell it out.
Man says he’s ordered a convertible for delivery in 4-5 weeks time.
2-3 weeks later mans says he negotiated a 35k discount.
Then man says he’d negotiated discount but never actually ordered car.
Which bit is a fact?

I got the Urus up to 167mph on the straight line at Millbrook! Lots of fun... and 135mph on the bowl - somewhat more concentration involved in that one though...

I’ve been following this thread as it’s interesting to see what’s happening in the Lambo world

But I’m beginning to wonder about some of the posters actually read what people have written or just interpret the posts as they would like them to be.

So let’s be clear. Guy says he has got a £35k discount off a new car. I’ve no idea whether that’s true or not but given it seems to be accepted earlier on that Lambo were offering dealers £25k incentives to get new cars shifted it feels plausible (and of course no dealer will admit to it).

He says he’s ordered a car. A post made in October. Now here’s the key thing Dr Watson, he doesn’t say when he’s ordered it. It might have been in April for all we know. And indeed I. a later post he seems to confirm his order went in much earlier. But the Lambo Fanboys (mind if I call you that?) incorrectly assume that his order is placed the day he posts that he has an order

His car is due in 4/5 weeks. Seems reasonable if he’s placed his order earlier in the year. But if you made the incorrect assumption that his order was in october you then lead again to the incorrect assumption that he must be talking BS

Happy to help Lambo-people. Enjoy your fabulous cars (bought at a discount or otherwise). beer

All correct!

Not sure why people are so vociferous in trying to discredit a £35k discount? As I posted, a £15k discount was mooted to me before even beginning to look at specs or numbers.........so £35k doesn't seem overly unrealistic for the the right person ordering at the right time with a dealer with a cancelled order or an unsold slot coming closer to delivery time............

If you think £35k is bad on a Lambo how about an Aston Martin DB11 at £65k off list?

I know someone who just did this and I have seen the invoice eek

Also know someone who claims to have bought a Bentayga at £70k off list! Madness.....

Bentley and Aston have always had big discounts, this is nothing new for them.

New Bentley even with a big discount has cost me more than all the Lambos I’ve ever owned put together!

I can well believe Tony got this deal.
I was offered pretty similar terms for a new build coupe to my spec. In the end I declined and I’m glad I did because these cars are heading sub 200 before too long. I did put somebody in touch with the dealer via another forum.

Andrew,
Hope you are well.
Thanks for your post, seem to be a touchy lot on here for some reason !
I knew I had got a good deal but it seems a great one according to some replies so I’m happy.
All the best.

I was also offered a very similar deal for a coupe being delivered around April time. If I had one on order now with no discount, there's no way in hell I'd be taking delivery given the current "used" prices.

Some folk need to get real on their reasons/expectations for buying these cars - enjoy them - resale values are only heading in one direction in the current climate...
