HI GUYS
How much do you think a white lp560 4 spyder 2011, 11k miles 1 lady owner, is worth?
Is this the right time to buy as winter Is approaching?

At 11k miles, do you think I will get another 10k of problem free motoring with out any catastrophic faults?

How much is it being offered for?

These cars are pretty much bullet proof. If it has been properly serviced to schedule over the last 7 years, you should be fine. I would ask for a clutch reading though, just so you know what life is in it (assuming it is an egear). Is it being sold by a Lambo dealer or an Indy?

You can also get an inspection done through HR Owen for £400 ish or RAC for less which may be wise if not sold through a Lambo Dealer.

Quite rare to find one with just 1 owner and at that mileage i would say that if under 100k it's a good buy

personally, i wouldn't touch a car with such a low mileage : these cars hate standing around

its up for 98k but open to offers. its through an indy but it will go through a lambo service/inspection in Leicester lamborghini and if clutch reading is low they will get this replaced.

This is a very valid point. Gallardos or indeed any car to be honest, fair better if used regularly rather than standing. Things then tend to break when asked to work regularly again by a new owner..

Inspection essential. Start negotiations at £90k, but any offer you do make is subject to results of the inspection which will be at the Indy’s risk. Buyer’s market currently. Lots not moving.

Never you mind

MIne (coupe LP560-2) has 19K on it. Not had any problems with it at all. Goes in for a service comes out without *touch wood* needing nothing more than a Geo every now and again.

The cars done most mileage in the early years, after that it varies from 500 to 1k per year,

Went to view it today and it drove perfect. Amazing performance and sounds awesome. Love the gear changes and the sound of the exhaust.

Gave it a a quick inspection and only found slight Kerb mark on wheels wing mirror lose. All Panejs lign up , front lift works, roof works

The Indy will get all work done if lambo find anything wrong . They will do the 7k service.

I may carry out another independent check after lambo check

Is 90k too low as similar cars with 20k are going for 98k plus

I think coming in at 90k seems fair - they can only say no. The one on a subject a few below I was looking at was on at 95k and I was planning on coming in 87k or so to settle high 80's (hopefully). I'll potentially be going back in for it closer to Xmas too.

There's one similar to the one you viewed listed higher mileage but year newer here for nearly 4k less too; https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201...

I enquiried about that one.it was goingto have a full front end re spray. So didn't end up pursuing it.

That was a while ago so it hasn't sold

Still use it as a price marker ;-)

If it is going to a Lambo Dealer to be checked, there is no point getting an independant inspection. I would engage with the dealer doing the check and get them to give you a copy of the inspection report.

Also, assume you mean 7 year service not 7k service.

Finally, 90k is not too low. Like I said, it is very much a buyer’s market and there is a fair amount of stock floating about that is not shifting currently. Combination of market confidence and over optimistic sellers. If you met at 95k all done, that would be a good price.

Op, you looking at the motion8 car..... Can't see them giving 8k off

They have good stock, and buy the cars to sell, not sor.... It is the best time to buy a supercar, but this year is an odd one with Brexit.... At the end of the day all you can do is compare with what's out there and decide what a car is worth to you... One keeper is a plus, esp if it's been well looked after, and worth a Bob or two in value, imho

Ask yourself this.... That's all that matters, I'd pay whatever I'd be happy to and could afford if its a car that ticks the boxes...

HistoRically, motion8 price competively

Good luck with the purchase OP.

When it comes to exotics or supercars there is a lot of obsessing with values and what may or may not happen. It can take the joy out of buying what for many is a dream come true experience. Supercars are not a logical purchase but quite often emotional ones. If the car is a good example (which should be the most important factor, even above price), and it is comparable in price to others in the range then go for it. The worst thing with these cars is holding out or opting for one that is few k cheaper and then finding out it has expensive maintenance pending which wipes out what may be considered a bargain on the surface. This car seems to tick a lot of boxes with the low owners and low miles and looks like the dealer is willing to do any prep as necessary which is a plus.

very good information here guys, thanks for that.

cap price is 92750 for a clean model -

so 95k, as mentioned above, with the 7 year inspection and bits and bobs sorted seems ok to me.

now comes the next part, what do you guys use for warranty, have been advised of warranty wise but lot of companies fail to pay out.

I went to view a Gallardo with motion8 in the summer and they were very good to deal with but wouldn’t budge much on the price.

Don't bother with a warranty.... The main dealers used rac in the past, top tier...

I bought !y first out of warranty and new owner didn't have warranty, its been perfect... That was a my08....
