It's brighter. It's basically a tweaked version of Verde Scandal.

I went with white, red calipers and full exterior carbon in gloss. I know it's a safe spec but I'm not really into bright colours.
From what you can gauge is it more GT3 RS or watered down Super Trofeo? IE. Road based track machine, or track machine softened for the road?

From what I hear it's a road based track machine. The Performante was a track machine softened for the road. The STO is more focused on weight savings, more use of carbon and it's RWD so daily driving it might be tricky.

I was very excited by this, but even having bought two brand new Huracan variants (LP-580 and Perf) from my dealer in the past 3 years I have been told i'm not eligible for an STO unless i buy an EVO variant first! ............ Not very happy, alot of loyal customers are going to be angered by this!

Interesting. There's some people on social media claiming dealers are calling them to ask if they want allocation. Who's your dealer?

Did you dealer tell you how many STO's they've been allocated?

I do wonder if this will be as loud as the Performante given those seem to be kicked off track days on a relatively regular basis

Any ideas on numbers yet?
Some are saying circa 700, others reporting a 2 year production run, like the Performante..

My dealer called me over a year ago to put a deposit down (which I did) but still not heard from them yet lol...
I’ve got a feeling I won’t be in the first batch but might be in the second year/run..

Don’t forget, Lamborghini recently posted record production numbers in September, and I suspect that they’re quite happy to continue to build on that!

I think the STO looks brilliant. But I can't see it being a good daily driver. biggrin

For me, the Perf is about as 'unpractical' as I'd like to go. tongue out

I'll be shocked if they produce only 700 cars but it could be possible because the Perf Spyder production number is probably around 700 maybe even lower. My guess is they'll produce 1200 STO's but we shall wait and see.

Also, the 2 year production run is somewhat misleading because the Perf coupe was a 2 year production run but it was open allocation meaning dealers didn't get set allocation so it was basically unlimited production. Talking to dealers not just here in the UK but globally it seems like with the STO there is set allocation each dealer is receiving. So say a dealer receives a total of 10 STO slots that would mean the deliveries would span the full 2 years of production. There might not be a separate batch of allocations in 2022.
