LOL, sure you were and everyone knows Lamborghini doesn't play the history game. They'll sell to whoever which is why I love the brand. And predicting future residual value on a car which is probably the last of it's kind is silly and basing residuals numbers in the current climate is silly. The entire supercar market in the UK is a big piece of turd at the moment but I would put money on the STO long term. Edit:
Lets revisit this post in 2024 when they announce the V10 is done and they're moving to a V8 for the Huracan replacement. Enjoy these NA engines whilst you can because they're not going to be around forever.

IIRC 5 per dealer per year, something like 5 this year (all sold), 5 next followed by then something like 2 last part of the year. 11 dealers iirc so the UK will see around 250 cars and I think was the actual number quoted.
My issue with it, whilst it is very hardcore and really must be treated to track use and not farting about on UK roads, is simply the cost by the time you bolt all the carbon on........and you want the carbon.
Also the UK has slipped out of the top 3 markets for Lamborghini because of slumping sales so a majority of the allocations will be heading to the US, Germany, China and Japan. I believe last years sales figures were just over 500 for the UK with a vast majority of the cars sold being Urus, I reckon STO's will make up around 10% of total sales for MY22 and MY23, MY21 cars are limited to market intro and a handful of VIP clients.

Laugh it up, it’s a true story. I won’t be buying a turbo charged supercar but there is plenty of time to enjoy NA, just not from new. Edit:

As I said, and I might be wrong, but I suspect it won’t be a hardship to pick one of these up at a discount in a few years and if I’m wrong it doesn’t matter, I don’t feel I’m missing much.
Usually the cars people judge as not special enough, too expensive, launched during tough economic times etc are the ones to have long term, often due to lowish build numbers as a result. Top of my head i can think of Z8, M3 CSL, 599 GTO, 670 SV, 918 as examples - most of those dropped below list (918 being the only exception), but long term all of them did ok (not per se as investments, just in terms of car value compared to most normal new car purchases). Even the SLR seems on the way up now and that was slated as not special enough compared to the Enzo and CGT.
I remember reading many a posts in c 2011/2012 from people saying they will get a 918 once they drop the first 200-400k USD, no need to buy one new as the car is just not special enough compared to the other offerings and way too many planned, so will drop a lot.

My other half is getting her STO soon. She's gone for a grey (a bit like fashion/crayon) but it's a one off paint job as it wasn't on the options list.
The launch spec (orange and blue) cars look fairly awful, but a solid colour looks great (with no STO writing either).
Looking forward to seeing/hearing it in her chosen colour.
