I know of this owner, been a few drives with us and seen his car around London. I don't know history of the car but I assume it's priced around what the dealer would take it in as a trade plus the mileage is pretty high, nearing 10,000. It also looks like it's missing a few options because they're not listed such as LDS & Sensonum audio.

that does seem cheap, I was given more as a p/x for my year older coupe with similar mileage to that for a well priced convertible Perf.

has been on sale a long time, originally 212k then 208k for quite a while. Was the first spyder to go near 200k, now you have main dealer spyders that can be had for 200k or a little less so he has to price it accordingly. Easily the highest milage spyder I have seen advertised also.
When I was looking most spyders I looked at had sub 3k miles as the owners had multiple supercars etc.

Matt black perf when I was looking was up at £199 now up for 169K. Glad I decided to wait before I get one as it looks like I could save myself 30/50K.

Friend was interested in this and bid £210k when it was up for £220k from memory, the chap owed more to settle his finance and didn't want to budge, clearly paying the price now.

Tip of the ice berg, plenty more of this to come IMO.

I tried to buy a used 991.1 gt3 privately around 8 months ago, same situation car was financed up to the hill. In the end he then tried to sell it via a dealer and still failed. Glad I didn't buy it if I'm being honest as it would of taken quite a hit over the last 8 months and that was still buying it 10k above its real trade value at the time.

I've been following this thread with great interest as, having just sold my R8 V10 Plus, I will shortly (the 1st quarter of next year) be a cash buyer for one of these great cars - coupe.

Having been keeping an eye on the market over the last few months, currently dealer prices, (and private?) seem to be between £170-210k
It's hard to know who owns what and how many are on SOR, plus what margins the dealers have in them; around £25K? Also indy/private prices don't seem to be any less than official dealers.

There doesn't seem to be much of a churn in the cars being advertised, which leads me to think;
a) Hardly anything is selling right now.
b) Cars are selling and the dealers are leaving the adverts up to lure you in.
c) Most of the advertised cars are on SOR with owners asking un-realistic prices.

Most of the cars seem to have the bucket seats, which is my preferred option; a couple of dealers that I've spoken too, denied that they would bid less (£7-8k has been mentioned earlier in this thread) for such cars, but I guess they wouldn't say anything else.

I’ve also been advised that the clocking of Huracan’s is rife at the moment.

I've been watching a private orange car for the last few weeks and the price has been going up and down like a yoyo.

Which way do you think the market is heading on the HP going into 2020; will prices continue to drop, stabilise or increase?

Which colours do you think best suit the car and what are the must have options spec. wise?

Is it essential to buy from within the Lamborghini network or would you risk going to an indy/buy privately and have it inspected?

I’d always buy in the network. The customer service with Lamborghini is very good and I think if you have an issue the dealer would look upon more favourably if you bought in the network.
No idea where the markets going but it won’t be going up again for a while that I am confident about. There is over supply in the market at the moment so the laws of supply and demand will take its natural effect I would think!

According to www.howmanyleft.co.uk there are a total of 323 Performantes registered in the UK, and this includes both coupes and spyders. The spyder was only on sale for a little more than a year so you can probably assume that there are more coupes than spyders out there. All things considered your estimate of 200 UK registered coupes seems reasonable.

I reckon around 200 coupes, not many MY19 coupes because most of the MY19 cars were spyders.

I saw a new advert for a white HP coupe at Redline over the w/e which seemed competitively priced (£165k from memory).

Looked again this morning and the adverts gone, so car has either very quickly sold or been withdrawn.

I personally think HP prices will stabilize and hold in the coming months, The car that will be replacing the HP will be the EVO STO which will be priced much higher and might be limited so it leaves the HP in a good position.

If list price is £252k without Ad Personam paint it must be fully loaded with options, the advert doesn't list everything but from the pictures I can see it has a Style Pack, Lifting gear and the Reversing Camera (which are all expensive and sought after options)

The bucket seats are the only thing which is has against it, sitting in them and a short drive they seem great and i would recommend driving for at least an hour before you buy a car with them, some people love them but generally cars with them tend to be a fair bit cheaper, I specced one with bucket seats and on the 80 mile drive home from the dealer I regretted it.

Any second hand Performante I would personally get plugged in at a main dealer to check the mileage is accurate, the mileage is recorded at several different places so it's virtually impossible for someone to get away with clocking it.

I have spoken to Amari, he gave me lots of sound advice although I've never bought from him, I imagine he would have his own software to verify mileage anyway and I personally would buy from him if I was in the market for one.

The earlier cars sound better than the later cars in my opinion, you seem to get more "crackles".

Thanks for the response. I've read what people have said about the carbon seats and I have my concerns for sure. I sat in a HP two weeks ago for about a minute at Redline and immediately decided the carbon seats where a definite no. I visited Amari last week and sat in this one for about 5 minutes and didn’t think it was as bad as I had initially thought it was. My thinking is that it’s supposed to be a “track focused “version of the standard Huracan so I can’t justify expecting it to be as comfy. From what you’ve said it sounds as though I could end up regretting the carbon seats, I think an hour’s test drive sounds like a good idea.

He also has a purple HP, that has the comfort seats but it’s purple and has the Lamborghini Dynamic Steering package which I’ve not heard great things about despite it been speced on the Nurburgring lap time car used.

I'm 6 foot and weigh about 100k so the seats need to be right.

At 6' a potential problem for you with the standard HP seats is that they sit too high..A lot of tall guys have problems with them especially with the rake of the windscreen and low header rail height..It might be better to go with the Carbon seats and compromise with a lumbar cushion to take the pressure off your lower back..
The Carbon racing seats in my 458 are brilliant even over long journeys but have backrest angle adjustment..The best seats i've ever sat in are the heated Carbon buckets fitted to the Ferrari 599 HGTE..They are wonderfully comfortable and supportive at the same time..The newer Carbon seats form Lambo,Macca etc are too extreme IMO but suit the character of these cars better..
