This one must have looked stunning in this gold colour. Anyone know what the colour is called ?

Oro Elios was the shade gold used on the limited Diablo SE which I believe others have specified since on newer Lamborghinis

Given the kit, and stripes down the centre, I imagine it is a wrap rather than paint though.

These Arab cars don't have to be left too long before getting covered in dust.

This looks like the same car before this happened, body kit stripes and colour are certainly the same.

There's a lot of abandoned cars in and around the airport belonging to people who've fled the country for various reasons.

If people have been that worried about their liberty that they have felt the need to just run then that tells me there are some laws there which are a lot less forgiving than other parts of the world.

It's people who go to Dubai, live well beyond their means by borrowing, lose their jobs and then skip the country as they cannot repay said debts. Don't believe all you read in the Daily Wail.

Some of the stories are scary enough to make me believe that even if a fraction of them are true then it is a place i am happy to avoid for life.

Well i've been here almost 9 years. I've never encountered an horror stories and have not heard of anyone with first hand experience of one either. No knife crime, scooter gangs, drugs or all the rest that seem to be increasing in the UK. Much happier bringing up my kids in this environment.

I would not go there either. Their human rights record is appalling.

Well I’m off there in a fortnight for some winter sun. I’ve been visiting two or three times a year for thirty plus years and I’ve never had any issues nor have I encountered anyone who has.

Yep. I went there on holiday once; pretty boring place but nice enough for sun. However, once I'd read more on how the country is run, I took the decision to spend any more time or money there.

Been to UAE, as usual, don't take all the sensationalist crap on social media as a true reflection of any place.

Even took a tour out away from the city and the people were friendly as ever. Been to Oman, did exactly the same venturing off the beaten track well away from the tourist and my fiancee wasn't even glanced, let alone anything else. She felt entirely comfortable.

Wonderful part of the world.
