Hey,

I bought a 2016 Huracan last week. I've been itching to get back into a modern naturally aspirated car for the last 12 months. I bought a 2020 718 GT4 at the start of the year, but it simply didn't do for me, despite it being a great car all around.

I simply can't get enough of the sound of the v10 over the last few days :-)

Tracker
Do all Huracan's come as standard with a tracker? If so, how do you access / setup the tracker?

Driveway Lights
What year Huracan came with the lights on when you unlocked / locked the cars. I see on another recent post that someone recommended getting the Carista OBD2 to update settings.

Carista OBD2
What other settings can you avail of with one of these?

Main Beam Lights
If you get out of your car with the main beam lights switched on, will they stay on until the battery is dead, or is there an auto safety cut off (so your battery won't drain)?

Photos
I'll post some better photos when I get a chance to take some next weekend.

Thanks, yes it's called Grigio Admetus... I thought I read that it was part of some special colour program, but could be wrong on that.

Can't answer your questions but congratulations on the pruchase. Fantastic looking thing. Hoping to purchase mine in the next few weeks.

Enjoy it and great selection of cars you have there.

Mine's a 17 plate Huracan - came with a Vodafone Tracker, so you may want to try them as they may already know the car and are able to activate it.

Equally, the lights will stay on for 30 secs (I think). It's a setting in menus that you can find - I think its accessed off the controls on the steering wheel from memory. Being Italian, some of the controls are naturally a little bit all over the place, but persistence i.e. sitting in it on driveway for half an hour, will allow you to find and get all the settings just right for you.

Btw, nice colour - you don't see many around in silver, so a nice change from the bright colours or black (I have satin grey - or standard metallic grey with a matt clear wrap over it if you prefer! I swayed between that and orange - not that I'm a bit all over the place in my thinking on that one).

Congrats on the purchase. I would be really interested in hearing more about why the 718 GT4 didn't work for you? I am currently contemplating downgrading towards something like a GT4 so any insight would be welcome.

Re tracker- look in the service book to see where the PDI was done and contact dealer to ask if they fitted a tracker as it will be on the delivery spec sheet.

At new i don't think Lamborghini direct were allowed to fit anything other than vodaphone ones that year.

It may not have had one fitted at all as it was an option but more likely than not will have had one or it could have had any other brand fitted by a third party but no idea how you would check easily.

Someone specialised could though, i think the vodaphone one plugs into the ecu port and aftermarket ones usually get cut into the wiring so that the starter motor can be remotely disabled.

My first port of call would be vodaphone though with the car vin

Love the colour smile Congrats!

Tracker - Most were fitted by Vodafone - Call em - £20 pm iirc.

Driveway Lights
What year Huracan came with the lights on when you unlocked / locked the cars. I see on another recent post that someone recommended getting the Carista OBD2 to update settings. - 2017 I think, standard on all Perfs (2017+) - Update software via main dealer or Carista OBD2.

Carista OBD2
What other settings can you avail of with one of these? _ don't know, eager to learn too.

Main Beam Lights
If you get out of your car with the main beam lights switched on, will they stay on until the battery is dead, or is there an auto safety cut off (so your battery won't drain)? - Auto cut off

Enjoy, sound is epic, one of the last best sounding cars.
