Doubt there are so few gen 2’s in the UK.

This site is useful, for gen 1’s, says there are/were 37 in UK out of around 300 VIN numbers it knows about (around half of gen 1 production). My car is listed under its old 57 plate; like many of these sites it must be difficult to keep it up to date.

and of the 37, 12 are listed as lhd ?!

In terms of LP570-4 Superleggera, I can believe those numbers. They are very few and far between. I have one and have had it for 5 years. I have never seen another on the road in that time. I have seen a picture of one belonging to an acquaintance in a ditch and one from some photos of a Vmax event, plus a couple for sale on AT.

It looks like your Grigio car isn't listed amongst the RHD cars Andrew. That would make it 38 GB cars (and 299 of the worldwide total) unless I've missed your's.

I suspect that one or two of the LHD cars may now have gone back to LHD countries.

it's not ( yet ! )

on the other hand i've only ever seen three lhd cars in the uk

a fair percentage of the uk cars got exported some years ago, but vvs have subsequently imported a few asian cars

Is there a registry for G2 SLs?

Anyone have an idea on G2 numbers?

My old one went to Austria in 2019 and was pretty much instantly for sale at a very inflated price. Its not for sale anymore, I'll be interested to see where it ends up.

Factory told me they made circa 10 gen 1 cars worldwide.
Bloody hell - really that few ? Wow!

I have a gen 1, the car Clarkson drove in the “Best driving road in the world” episode.

Now in UK with factory big wing:
That is a thing of beauty!

For some reason I've been thinking about this lately and come to the conclusion that a manual Superleggera is right up there with the most desirable of all Lambo's. With front driveshafts removed maybe ?

How many gen 1’s did they make? I’ve had mine since 2008, prices hardly seem to have moved.

the market doesn't really seem to care for lambos, there's only 186 murci sv's and they have barely gone up at all either - I genuinely thought they would skyrocket

You and Andrew must surely have the 2 longest ownerships of the original UK supplied SL1s.
