(PENDING) Why do I keep getting logged out?

Not sure how techie you are - but would be interested if you can diagnose the cookies, and see what the expiration date is of certain ones. Let me know if you can view the cookie data and I will PM you to try and sort/understand this further.

So five days and PH are unable to answer my question, it's obviously Broke it recently as it hasn't behaved like this in the last ten years!

There is an issue with the length of the cookie that is causing some of these issues, so we have been investigating this.

The current login system has been in place for 6 months now, so do you mean recently as in that - or more recent, like last two months?

In fairness it has probably been the last six months, but it is becoming more and more annoying, as I often look on an iPhone and it seems to screw things up

OK, so related to the new login system more than anything that has changed recently. We are currently looking at if anything in our release process is causing the issue - We release on Tue and Thu, so wonder if the problem is better over a weekend say, and then causes issues in the week - specifically after we do a release.

Yep, it's happened to me about three times over the past half hour or so. When I click 'login' it logs me in without asking for any details, so not as frustrating as it could be.

Sorry to hear you're experiencing issues with the site.
There's not much I can do at this minute however I will pass this onto Dom in the development team first thing in the morning to investigate. In preparation can I ask what machine, Browser, operating system and browser you are using

Bleedin' irritating this, it's not multiple times a day but seems almost random. Can be a week or more, or even a day and it's asking me to login again.

Sill doing it then, no real answer on this thread either, other than to say it could possible maybe be a cookie that says something along the lines of "this cookie will destroy your computer in ten seconds and send all of your bank and credit card details to Haymarket" or something like that.

Hi I've just spoken with the dev team and their still trying to find the source of the problem. I'll keep you updated with any developments on this as soon as I know.

I'm surprised to be able to post this. Usually can't log in using my phone. Been going on for ages. If you want to know how long, look back for the significant reduction in my post count (from not many, to virtually none).

Android using dolphin. Posted from PC last night for the first time in a few months.
