FAO: Car dealers and businesses

Hi everyone,

We just wanted to post a gentle reminder for car dealers, and those who have car related businesses. Advertising on the forums is against the rules of the PistonHeads forums, and therefor any breach of these rules will result in us taking action against you.

We have recently seen an increased number of posts from companies trying to sell cars or products, and I must remind you that by advertising within the forums you are breaking the PH forum rules which you agreed to when you joined. Posts that we deem to be advertising will be removed and in some cases you may be banned from PH. This includes any posts that ask readers to contact you at your premises or showing photos of stock that you are trying to sell.

Aside from obviously breaking our rules, doing this sort of thing shows disrespect to the hundreds of dealers who use PH but refrain from using the forums to gain business.
