Hello PHers and welcome to your new look forums!

Is it just me or is anyone else getting eye-ache after reading a lot of text in the new font ?
I`ve never experienced it before but after 10 minutes browsing I had to close the forum as my eyes starting aching !
I don`t need glasses and don`t get this on any other site before someone suggest I do

Blue and purple are the standard colours for visited and unvisited pages. Purple indicates you've previously visited that page. Bold indicates there's a new post in that thread since your last visit. Bold purple indicates that there's a new post in a thread that you have visited. It's unusual to see it these days; most sites change the a:visited and a colours in CSS. Originally when we all had 28.8k modems, it was handy to be able to identify links you'd already visited to avoid unnecessarily waiting to find you'd already seen something.
Whitespace and colour palette (particularly contrast) is shonky at best. Honestly, a good front-end dev would have this sorted in a day but it would appear Haymarket don't have one.

Oh for God's sake, why is it now pale blue and light grey?
It's difficult to read and hurts my eyes.
Would someone be kind enough to explain where I can change it, if indeed I can?
It really is isn't it - I have to squint at the screen now in order to read it.It's difficult to read and hurts my eyes.

Every step a backwards one, sad really.

Do we think that maybe, instead of just complaining for complainings sake, we can run with this new look, work with it for a while and then give better feedback on things that are an actual problem? Longer term, that has to be a better bet than the pitchforks and torches approach?
