You can do all that yourself, CTRL + mousewheel (or whatever your PC uses) can make things bigger or smaller.
It was fine before so should not need to.

They don't care about the forums apart from the opportunity to add adverts on them.
Most people run ad-blockers anyway

This new layout and washed out colours is awful. It's more difficult to read and is hard on the eyes. The last layout was much better than this, and, it wasn't broken. Well done to whoever thought that a light blue font on a light or white background was good deserves a medal.

I do wonder if anyone will actually take note of the criticism of the new layout or whether it will just fall on deaf ears.

I find the whole thing to be quite disappointing, Haymarket produce magazines that people read using mk 1 eyeballs so know plenty about making things readable.

You would have thought the designers (in the loosest sense) wouldn't have too far to walk to find serious expertise.

The people messing around with the site are amatuers and just plain unprofessional.

There was no chance of anyone listening after PetrolTed sold to income generators, sadly.

Personally I think this is a massive improvement over the previous version of the GTI Skin (I use desktop primarily).

It's all so much clearer and the look is a lot more cleaner as well.

Of course this is all subjective.

I like it.

Anyone noticed that if you shrink the page it automatically goes to mobile ?

Desktop:

It all looks a bit 2000s to me.

The cellborders are a bit 1990s. Otherwise this is an improvement.

On desktop hit Ctrl+ once to zoom it a notch and the font is actually very pleasant to read.

Still looks to be three different fonts on the same page, mind. How hard can it be? hehe

I'm OK with the styling - can't figure out what the subtle distinction between 'Bookmark' and 'Watch' is, and don't want to click them to find out!

Would still like to be able to give a 'Thumbs up/down' on other posts to show general agreement/disagreement but avoid the 'me too' responses.

Otherwise, it's good to see that things are being worked on. Ignore the haters, keep working!

So I've just wandered off to read a few threads, it isn't very readable, to the point that I'm going to give up.

I really do think Haymarket need to spend a few quid on hiring a UX Person instead of just having wild stabs at what they think will be best.

All the time being burned on this could be spent adopting a out of the box solution with loads more functionality than we could ever hope for. As it is PH are just creating a rod for their own backs in terms of ongoing support & maintenance.

Is it intentional that the little arrow & page icon at the end of the page numbers that allows you to jump to the last read post in that thread only appears in "My Stuff" and now when viewing a section ?

p.s. Lose the cellborders.
I'm struggling with the font. It seems very condensed and it's giving me eye strain.

That was on the previous version and has always confused me. I think the difference is bookmarks don't appear in "my topics and replies" when updated whereas watched threads do, even if you haven't posted your own reply.

I'm finding the colour and contrast mix awful.

I am red/green deficient colour blind, don't know if that matters but all this Blue is not good.
