I have registered my account on the 7th of may and verified the email address on the same day. Is there anything else I need to do to unlock the access?

There was a massive amount of spam last night, so things have been locked down a bit more than usual perhaps. I believe the "unlocking" of access for different areas is manual, so hopefully a mod will sort you out.

I wouldnt worry about it, it can be like a lions den in there.
If you get on the wrong side of the wrong people you'll be ushered out within a couple of months
If you look back in a year or so later you'll find they've scarpered - you still wont be allowed back in though

Must confess i have noticed a couple there who seem to post all over the boards but don't seem to actually know something about anything.
