As you asked the question, I tried IE11 and the issue doesn't happen. Guessed it may be ublock origin but with that disabled it still happens in chrome.
In order to access My Topics, My Replies, My Bookmarks, etc. and/or the blue menu including My Stuff, What's New, etc. I have to scroll up a couple of lines. I'll concede it's a minor niggle but nonetheless frustrating.
Similar here on win7 & chrome although I can still see the "Pistonheads >> Gassing station and My Stuff" part, it just cuts off the main PH logo and the ad at the top right, oddly clicking what's new still shows everything.
king annoying.
