Problems starting new threads

Why do i only see the "Start New Thread" button in the Website Feedback forum and nowhere else?

Hi - would you be able to give more detail please? Which browser and operating system are you using, and can you send a screen shot of the issue over?

Probably doing something wrong, as I've just signed up, but I can't see a 'start new thread' button anywhere at all.

I'm using Firefox and running XP. Where should I be looking ?
