You enjoy reading a thread, perhaps contribute, it's reasonably sensible and then Yipper cones on with some daft "Fact"

Is he related to Welshbeef or 300BHP?

I'm only joking as he does seem to have a wide knowledge but he's made his mark in a short time I think.

Forums are a better place with these kind of people.

I remember back in the day .........

I disagree, his posts add nothing to any thread, most of it is either made up, generic or simply not true.

Totally pointless contributions, he's not far off the "SB bot".

There is several posters that whenever i see a post from them on a thread i just instantly leave it, regardless of how good the thread topic is.

I'm like this, there's a bloke that hates the Focus RS and finance. Any mention of either and he goes off spouting unsubstantiated nonsense, the blokes a prick frown

I like yipper, he chucks in a grenade and then vanishes. People then get really frustrated because he never gets involved in arguments and rarely replies to their criticism of his posts. hehe

Let’s not forget the election threads where he was criticised for weeks for (correctly) predicting there would be an increase in support for Corbyn.

Bit like trolling then? Can I ask why that's something you like?

Because he's never driven a FRS or any of its rivals and yet argues till the death that one is better than the other. Simple really.

I agree, the forum needs the Yippers of this world although the king remains Audemars, by a long way.

Because this forum (NPandE mainly) is dominated by posters with polarised positions, bickering pointlessly for pages defending them. It’s rubbish to read and a complete waste of time for those involved, nobody ever changes their views nobody ever wins. It’s just miserable for everyone,

Yipper says something (people disagree with) and then buggers off.

People then want to defeat him (in their minds) by trying to engage him in this pointless bickering but he’s nowhere to be seen. It infuriates them. I find this amusing. As whether intentional or not, he highlights how futile the bickering is and provides entertainment to people on the sidelines who aren’t engaged in the incessant spirit crushing arguing.

He provides a calm sometimes amusing alternative view, provides entertainment and doesn’t ruin the thread by becoming entrenched defending his views. To me he usually adds much more to the forum than those complaining about him.

biggrin

Well put El stovey, Yipper has style! wink Far too many people take things on here too seriously.

scratchchin Quite why the mods have decided to move this to "Website Feedback" is a mystery to me. I shall write a letter of complaint to the Times...

Do you not think that without the hand grenades the bickering might lessen?

I have no idea if it would but I dislike both the bickering and the grenades. Maybe I'm just expecting too much these days smile

So, basically, trolling.

Isn't that against forum rules?

Can't say I've ever read them TBH.

Great thread. Love it when the OP can’t remember where his Ferrari 250 is.
