I was reading that thread about Jason Plato's stalker on my phone to alleviate the tedium of a long train journey yesterday and it got me thinking about the topic.

Well who is it for you (i suppose we should say were they aware of it, was it consensual etc, ie brushing past someone in a lift counts i suppose)

Mine was Tom Watson (the golfer not the c*nt), shaking hands with him at Walton Heath. Consensual. NOt that famous apart from to golf/sports fans.

Ranulph Fiennes in a race.

Technically we were in the same race, it just so happened he was at the sharp end and I wasn't

Geoff Capes at a strongman contest as a kid

Chris Eubank outside Cardiff Central Station, shameless 'member-of-the-public invading the personal space of a celebrity for a handshake' moment. I'm not even that much into boxing..

I do occasional business with Andy Gomarsall. Family friends/acquaintances are Tim Rice and Darcy Bussell, as uncle is a globally renowned timpani player and has worked with many in those circles (currently at ROH).

As a young child my Dad knew the Everly Brothers and Mike Reid - can't confirm if I ever had contact with them though.

At school my friend's parents were actors. Dad had a minor stint in Casualty and was the bloke who opened the door of the Mercedes at the Nazi castle in Indiana Jones & The Last Crusade. Remember it being quite an event to see him as a background actor in something. His Mum was in the school episode of People Like Us, the headmaster's secretary. Randomly, they knew Richard Griffiths pretty well and he rang me on my 10th birthday. Nice chap.

Small world really.

HRH The Duke of Kent - shook hands at University graduation.
Gary Delaney - Comedian, on Mock The Week from time to time.

That's all I can think of at the moment and probably it.

Phil the Greek - shook his hand and had a very brief conversation about my line of work.
Total legend IMHO, be a sad day when he goes.....

.....Oh and the lovely Rachel Riley, had my picture taken with her by her make up artist, she's tiny. (Rachel, not the makeup artist!)

All at my great-uncle's memorial service at the House of Lords.

Lots of '50s music stars since I spent years backing them at UK festivals, including DJ Fontana, Elvis' drummer.

I shook Trevor Brookings hand once and sold a DVD player to Sharon Davies.

My Mate went out drinking with Matt LeBlanc at London Fashion week in 2010. Feedback was - nice guy, cant handle his drink!
