db9 2013 MY and 2015MY

I have the bible on AM but cant see any difference between model years of 2013 and 2015 for a DB9 -is there any?

Sports exhaust - was this an option or just standard?

Bob.... sounds like you need to update that guide 12.75 is the current one it’s all in there. 14th should be out in about 6 weeks.

The DB9 took a big leap forward with the new Virage based 13MY model so there wasn’t really any major changes 14/15MY.. see below taken direct from the guide.

The 16MY was the next big step with the introduction of the GT (haven’t included it below as you asked about 13-15my but basically you have 540 horses with a standard sports exhaust (previously an option) new Ami infotainment with Vanquish style fascia and a host of cosmetic feelgood tweaks, best of the 9’s but prices are still a bit ambitous) there is a couple of pages on this and the Bond edition.

Here are the main14/15 changes noted, are you looking at a change Bob?

2014MY_______________________________________________________________

• New Cobra Tracking system (standard UK only).
• March 13 - DAB radio aerial added (EU -not all countries!) DAB not fully active until around November 2013 (note- it may be possible to activate DAB on Mar-Nov cars).
• Part the way through model year dual DIM (drivers information module) introduced capable of showing trip computer and digital speedo at the same time.

2015MY_______________________________________________________________

• Bluetooth Streaming added (late in the 14MY) no other major changes noted!

I have 2 bibles - just not the latest !!!

Yes would love a DB9 GT - but out of my price range.

So keen on 3 x DB9's at present

a 'Sports exhaust" was this an option? I thought its just standard (and take out fuse 22)

Hi,

FWIW we have a 2014 Volante and it has the sports exhaust (back box) - was a £995 option so defo not standard. Makes a rather nice noise from 3k upwards esp. With the hood down 👍. Well worthwhile IMHO.

You can never have enough bibles... but then I may be a tad biased Sports exhaust was standard on the GT/Bond Edition but otherwise an option and it's fuse 15 not 22 for these newer beasts. The 13MY+ cars are fab, I particularly like the Carbon Black edition.
